And what is so wrong with Hamilton remaining on the $10 bill? If you want to honor her,fine,make it a stamp,or a coin,or a collector's piece. But traditionally,the women on currency never lasted too long and you have to consider other things. If you do put a woman's portrait on money,then any electronic device would need to be reprogrammed to accept it. And people that deal with large amounts of money would need training on spotting fakes and recognizing the real thing.

Just leave it alone,Congress. Hamilton and Jackson have worked very well on 10 and 20 dollar notes. There is an old saying,"If it ain't broke,don't fix it."

I think having a male and a female makes a better statement than just one or the other.
Instead of trying to reverse the gender rolls they should just be shared... Just because we've
been at one extreme doesn't mean going to the other makes it neutral. ;

It honestly doesn't make much of a difference to me, unless they put Sarah Palin or Hilary Cilnton on it. If they do that, I will vow to never use a $10 bill again.

All joking aside, I don't even really understand why this is such a big deal. OMG! THEYRE PUTTING A DIFFERENT PERSON ON OUR CURRENCY!!! THIS IS NEWS-WORTHY! No, it's not. Why everyone is reporting on this like it's a huge victory for women's rights is way beyond me.

However, female or not, I strongly believe that what Harriet Tubman did earns her a spot on the $10 bill.
