Welp off to Leicester the one time we get a challenge that doesn't raise my blood pressure .

As we are a week away from the deadline of the current contest... it's my responsibility to tell you that there's now a second part to this challenge (it was always planned, to be kept from you until this point).

Modifiers.

Not only will you be looking to catch pokemon, but now, you will get bonus points for meeting certain criteria.

10 Shiny Pokemon (NON HACKS ONLY) - 25 bonus points (Screenshots of each shiny Pokemon required, in thread and on game page)

25 Shiny Pokemon (NON HACKS ONLY) - 50 bonus points (Screenshots of each shiny Pokemon required, in thread and on game page)

Level 100 Pokemon - 1 bonus point for EACH pokemon at level 100. (Screenshots of each Level 100 Pokemon required, in thread and on game page)

Non-Hack Bonus - 20 bonus points if you didn't use a hack to catch any of the 386 Pokemon (this means using only Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/Gold/Silver/Crystal/Red/Blue/Yellow/Green). Only counts if at least 300 pokemon were caught.

386 Pokemon Bonus - 10 bonus points (must catch all 386, counts if you use hacks, though you will be ineligible for Non-Hack Bonus)

Yeah, that's right, I might have a third part ready to drop closer to the deadline, to keep you on your toes. This isn't just about catching Pokemon, this is about doing it in a way that leaves no doubt as to how dedicated you are to your Pokemon Training.

Just an update on my end... I've pretty much completed fire red... I've got one more pokemon to evolve and that'll take a while as it needs like 150,000 xp... so yeah that'll be a drag... 

mlb789 : Have you actually done anything at all? I mean you've not told us anything.. and i'd rather not run through all of emerald in 6 days when i hate pokemon just for you to submit everything i've done lol

sonicmcmuffin : I've done a little, but I've been busy this week with my birthday (family stuff) and getting ready for school. I have this entire week where I have nothing to do and will do the bulk of it this week.

We've caught 150 pokemon so far in the legit games... only 150 more to go

I can get a couple more by running leaf green perhaps.. (like 15 at most)

but if you guys want me to run another game i don't mind.. .I'd like to get to 300.. mainly so we don't completely fall behind

I know it's a big ask for such a small team.. but i wouldn't be setting a target if i wasn't afraid to put in the effort myself as well. 

Still working on Gen 2, but I should finish soon-ish. Upload a video of the Pokedex and all that.

Well I was playing Emerald, but my computer decided to blue screen last night with the plug-in so yeah, I'll see what I can do about that.

So my computer died multiple times and I'm leaving early tomorrow so yeah, I'm not going to be able to do much else than this. Sorry about that but I'm not happy about it either :/

THIS TOOK ME LITERALLY TWO WEEKS TO DO, YOU'RE WELCOME.

Catching a bunch of Pokemon is hard enough, but a version that has a LOT of "not in this version" setbacks sucks. But I did it to the best of my ability. Without hacking, mind you.

(Essentially i was in a call with symphonic whilst recording this and his voice was only picked up and it was too funny to not upload)

Me and symphonic also made this handy document to show which video contains what captured Pokémon so it should be easier to judge as well Spreadsheet thingamabob

We caught  302 Pokémon without hacks! Woop bonus points! Also pac caught the red gyarados

Yeah I got no problem with it. Sorry I can't be of much help now. I'm stuck here for 2 more weeks.

The competition period is now over.

Over the next day or two, I will look at the videos to confirm the capture of each pokemon.

I have more or less finished judging your team's submissions.

I thank you for the handy spreadsheet (I have one of my own, and it's nice to cross-reference. It makes getting through the judging much easier when I have both the actual submission and a spreadsheet to look at, to avoid confusion.

I still have a little more to look at, but given what I have in front of me, you guys are set.

Well I hate being a burden but we'll have to come with a challenge thats not RGR related if I'm to participate and help out.

I'm limited to mobile only only =p.

Blubcreator : That's fine at least we know where we stand in terms of submissions.. I'd much rather people be open about their capabilities to compete then to drop it on us with like 2 days left to submit something. So for that i appreciate it., 

Also we have had the smallest team by far for most of this competition and we have proven that what we lack in quantity we have made up with quality, determination and teamwork...

We may not win the Camp, but heck guys, let's give it our best shot?

Uhh my brother went around liking random posts so sorry bout that :p free post rating I guess.

In terms of challenges it would have to be some sort of creative posting challenge. I feel like writing a review or article would be a bit generic. Maybe we could add a twist to it.

As for your idea... I'm not sure how a posting challenge would be done OBJECTIVELY (key word).

There needs to be a set winner.
