So I'm one of those people that doesn't really talk about my personal life much, I mean most of the people that i speak to regularly will probably be able to mention 3 constant things about me
1) I'm British
2) I'm a *insert cuss here*
3) He likes MLP
Besides that most people don't actively know or care much about me so i thought i'd just write a little update on how life is treating me these days... Plus i need to talk/ get this off my chest because well.. I need to...
So long story short.. I have a phobia of Doctors and Hospitals... Weird huh?... Let's just say that everytime i've ever spoke to a doctor about something either the lack of care i've been given is disgusting.. or well a burden of bad news occurs... and with my Seizures.. Hospitals aren't a fun place for me... in fact they are tedious... I mean i'm glad i don't live in America they'd probably have milked me dry due to hospital fees... but w/e
Anyways my health has been declining for the last 2-3 years really.. and well it got to the point of where my housemate literally had to force me to go to the doctors and was their to support me...I won't yap about my medical issues but will just state that the doctors have deemed me unfit to work, and i now have a lovely counsellor... (yay )
I mean i don't mind talking about my medical conditions.. it's just well.. we all have problems and i don't want people to have to eye roll too much
Either way.. I've got a ton of time on my hands.. and two days in.. I'm already bored to death.. so any questions or suggestions would be appreciated...

As someone who's utterly anti-social irl, I can't really say any advice I give regarding dealing with phobias or stressful situations of any nature would be actually meaningful, or more importantly, useful.

However, regarding said boredom... Reading turned out to be something I never really enjoyed too much to be honest (mostly because other stuff seemed way better), but lack of better options due to reasons I'm not going to bother explaining here made it turn out to be a surprisingly effective time killer. Not only that, but I managed to kinda detach myself from an annoying reality while being at ease about it, even though I'm a very self-conscious person. But when I developed this habit I didn't see it as an escape route or anything among those lines, since I didn't really have the choice of confronting the issue at the time (plus reading could be seen as something productive). Unlike most other average hobbies that don't involve third-parties or stressing your body, I managed to find enjoyment in reading and turn it into a habit of mine.

That or take the general advice and play games or watch series/movies... But if you're like me, most of the time you'll lack motivation to even bother checking most of them, or get burned out quickly from the ones that you actually do bother with. I don't know why but it's been more and more like that for me and I noticed something similar with a few other people.
