In the Smash Bros series, while there have been awesome final smashes, there have also been some terrible ones as well. Out of all the final smashes in the entire series, which one do you think is the weakest? My personal opinion on this subject is Pac Man's final smash because even though he becomes huge, it's very hard to control him because he only goes up, down, left or right, making it very hard to hit your opponents.

I would have to go with with Peach's Final Smash.  It just sends the opponent to sleep while spawning a bunch of peaches.  Fun to look at, yes.  Effective, not by the slightest.  A close second would be Zero Suit Samus' Final Smash.

gamerforlifeforever2 : In my opinion, it is King Dedede's Final Smash from Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Why? Well, because I'm very good at dodging his final smash, and I barely get hits. If I ever fall off the stage, I can easily get back up.

DJ2536 : Zero Suit Samus' Final Smash is a lot better than you think. Are you talking about Brawl or Smash 4? In Brawl it's a guaranteed 1-hit-KO if you hit someone (which is surprisingly easy), but in Smash 4 it's even better. Her laser guns can take multiple stocks off. It's basically Snake's final smash but with lasers instead of rockets.

Personally, I'd have to say Peach's Final Smash is the most worthless. It doesn't put them to sleep long enough, plus it's only effective when they're already at high percentages.

Wow, everyone here seems to have a different opinion on who has the worst smash it seems. Then again, there are tons of characters in the series so I guess it shouldn't be much of a surprise that there's quite a bit of bad Final Smashes out there.

In Brawl I would have to say Peach and Kirby have some of the worst final smashes. Peach because it doesn't do a lot of damage, and it only puts you to sleep. Along with that, if you wake up in time, you can use the peaches to heal yourself which entirely defeats the purpose. Kirby's was also pretty bad because it didn't do a lot of damage either, and it was extremely easy to avoid. I'm glad he got something different in SSB4.

As for SSB4 I think Rosalina's final smash is pretty bad, it consists of a bunch of stars shooting towards you. Its really not all that effective, and it is pretty easy to avoid taking any damage from it. I think mega man's and shulk's final smash could be a little stronger as well, if I'm not mistaken, they barely do even 40 damage. 

 I just want to add that I think Pit's final smash has improved a hundredfold from what it was in brawl because now it is long enough to pretty much guarantee a hit in some way. 

I think Marth's and Lucina's are the worst.  Sure, they one hit KO, but they are laughably easy to dodge by rolling, sidestepping, airdodging, or just jumping.

My least favorite Final Smashes are Dedede (Smash 4) Dark Pit, and Wii Fit Trainer's.

Dedede has an INCREDIBLY underwhelming Final Smash. He just...Hits you 4 times, then throws a bomb at you....That's it.

Dark Pit's Final Smash is just as uninspired and unoriginal as his moveset.

And Wii Fit is pretty underwhelming also. But it has a better cone effect than Mario or Doctor Mario's, so it's not a total copy.

Kirby's cook pot. By far the worst final smash ranking right next to Luigi's

I can't say I'm a big fan of Rosalina's Final Smash. Even on small stages it's ridiculously easy to dodge, and it doesn't even have that much knockback.

   The worst Final Smash I'd say would be either Jigglypuff's or Ice Climbers' from Brawl. Both can be good pressure if you get them at the right area, but with both being moves that take a while to actually get a kill off of, they can generally be avoided without too much issue. Another problem with Jigglypuff's is that in team battle, even with team attack off, it can still kill your own teammate as well. I learned the hard way.

I believe it was Kirby's cook pot in brawl. Damage didn't seem to significant and easy to avoid.

A couple of people have mentioned Kirby's Final Smash. I'll admit that one is absolutely horrendous, but I still say that Pac-Man's final smash is worse.

I'd say the worst final smash is Meta Knight's in Brawl. For such an OP character as Meta Knight, his final smash proves to be way to short-range to be practical at all.

The worst Final Smash is Link's because it almost always misses. It's terrible in every Smash Bros game ever. That's one reason why I hate using Link.

NintendoTails : I think there are worse Smashes out there, but I will say that I'm not a fan of using Link either. There are way better sword wielders out there in Smash games.

I'd have to say Diddy Kong, which is sad, because he's my main. The problem comes in when you realize that the hits are both inaccurate and incredibly lacking in knockback and overall power. It's just overall...not good.

Hidden Phantom : I've noticed that as well. Diddy Kong's a good character, especially in Brawl, but that Final Smash is bad, though to me there are worse Final Smashes out there.
