I would probably play the original Legend of Zelda; because there are so many secrets in the game that it would take me the rest of my life figuring out, and its fun because there are so many things to do(like get the master sword, or The shield(haven't played for so long I barely remember the names of the items, sorry ), anything else) so what game would you play?

I would play advance wars black hole rising because it has a level editor

also, if I was playing it for the rest of my life, I would probably mod it to play against people online (not the website, but on the actual console)

Not a bad idea because I did say "no walk trough's or help from anyone", so that would work as long as they don't help you!
Thanks for the response!

I would probably play Guardians Crusade because the game itself is so long and then there's the RPG aspect which allows you to train even more. So far, I must have ammased 2000 hours playing this game since I was like 8 years old because its easily my favorite ever and I wouldn't mind playing it for another 2000 hours.

If possible I would rather live my life without games at all than be stuck to a single game, there is no game I love enough to be able to sit down and play it for more than a few days at a time. I grow bored and want something a little less stale. However if I had to I guess something like BlazBlue or Street Fighter. Something heavily competitive allowing me to currently test my skills against the best players around. Lose a few hundred times, and eventually gain enough skills to rival them. In theory of course.

But really. Life > All games > A single game.

Don't worry, it's math.

I would play Skyrim for the rest of my life because there are so many things in the game and no matter how many hours you put into the game, you will most likely never find all of the secrets. It also never gets boring like many other games do over time.

There's an obvious answer to this question.
While it's not my favorite game (by any means), if I had to play one game for the rest of my life...

Minecraft

For, what I think should be obvious reasons.

Grand Theft Auto V, assuming I have access to Online.
I mean, constant updates including Heists.
Rolling on other players.
That's tons of hours excluding single player. If you meet active online friends, you won't need to worry about being bored again.
(Especially if you try nonsense like driving off the top of a Titan military cargo jet with a 4x4 and 360-ing down for thousands of feet.)

Final fantasy X. Kind of for the same reasons you would live the good and wonderful days of your first love all over again if you only could.

Probably The Sims... it's one of my top favorite games and if it was the only one I could play that would be okay. It can keep me occupied for hours at a time for when I'm in the mood to play it.

I would play Xenoblade Chronicles X when that comes out because a 100% play through takes 300+ hours even if you know what you are doing, so it would take me my whole life without a walk through to beat that game.

Given the right computer, I could play Civilization IV endlessly. You can read all about in in my review of the game, but in summary: very beautiful graphics, completely addicting music (I'm always eager to reach the Renaissance) and so many possibilites to win that it WILL take forever to master.

This is one of those where I'd have to think long and hard to come up with one single, final answer.

Elder Scrolls: Oblivion might be an obvious choice for me because it essentially never ends, but I would miss other games entirely too much, I think.

Kingdom Hearts is also a possible contender, because honestly, I could replay it over and over again and never really get bored of it. However, the same can also be said (for me at  least) of Final Fantasy X or X-2. They never get old.

I could go with my 'default' answer of the .hack// series, because it's one game spread over many, but I'm still not sure if that would be 'cheating' or if that would be considered a legit answer. I mean, it's...seven? Yeah, seven games, but they're all essentially ONE story. So does that count as one game or multiples? I don't know.

Could also be Alpha Sapphire, honestly, because if nothing else I can breed and trade pokemon and I seriously don't think I'll ever get tired of that.

So I would have to think long and hard about those to narrow it down to just ONE. I'm not so sure I could to it, to be perfectly honest with you. I hope I never have to. :/

I was originally going to say Dragon Quest 8 if I could choose only one game, I've dedicated several hours already into playing it these past few years LOL.  My first file on there had been started when I was in 8th grade and I didn't finish the game until 2 years later.. Of course rarely playing it here and there, it was too hard when I was younger and I learned a better strategy along the way.  I just started a new game a few days ago and have been playing DQ3 on Vizzed and I'm addicted all over again.  I love just exploring and appreciating the art everywhere in the game.

Another choice would be The Sims 3.. 'cause that would likely be easier to play endlessly considering there are endless possibilities.

Okami sticks out in my mind. It's probably my favorite game, and it's the prettiest I've ever seen. There's a lot of joy to be derived from the game, and the lore is really interesting. Because of Okami I ended up doing a lot of wikipedia searches, and when i replay it again I'm sure that I'll be doing further research.

Ah, Simple question. Skyrim hands down. Amazing graphics, environment, freedom, and story. Very addictive. By far one of the best games to date.
