Let's see, V for Vendetta, A History of Violence, Stardust, The Fountain, Constantine all were great movies based off DC Comics. And guess what? Those movies don't need some 200 million dollar budget to call themselves good.

Half of Marvels first films in the 80s and 90s are some of the campiest crap ever, seriously go look up Roger Cormans Fantastic Four. Also most of Marvels are usually awful adaptations of comics (Elektra, Ghost Rider, Daredevil, Punisher)

And don't get me started on the acting.

When I google up the image of the DC team, i see a team of heroes standing together, with the American flag at the background, using there powers for good and not for evil. At the front, there are 4 iconic heroes of all time: Batman, Robin Hood, The Green Lantern, and Superman. (Which are my favorites)

When I saw The Marvel team picture, I see a glorious team, filled with outstanding and amazing heroes: The X-Men, Spiderman, Captain America, and The Hulk.

When it comes to voting over which team is dominant, inspirational, and Heroic, I would go to DC. If i were a super hero, I would fight along the Justice League.

I love Batman so im gonna have to choose DC. Oh and i completely agree with xfighter

seriously those are not dc driven hero comics let it go those movies are based on other out of the box comics because dc characters are too weak to carry a movie all 80s super hero movies are campy and horrible these days marvel is the king of comics and the king of the medium when ever you get thru they move more issues and sell more tickets super man batman thaats all u get and supermans last good movies was in the 70's i could just throw up rite now. elektra daredevil ghost rider and the punisher all did well in the box office all this marvel hate is a distraction from the facts

So it doesn't matter if it's based off a graphic novel, it just matters if the f***er can fly or not,if it's a 300 million dollar, last time I check DC most of the time doesn't want people to ruin their franchises, like what people did to Marvel. At least Batman can craft a story, unlike half of your adaptations.

Let me just run down Marvels movies.

Superman CAN have a plot. He's about repetition of history; The people of Krypton destroyed themselves, Kal-El alone got sent to Earth, and now our planet is threatening to follow the same fate. Lex Luthor is the Lucifer or Stalin figure; he's the charismatic, gifted leader everyone loves, and place their lives in the hands of, but he's secretly a sociopath and poses an obstacle to Superman's naive, optimistic view of humanity of general.

X-Men 3: Lets kill off all the good characters in the movies!

Fantastic Four: I could have written a better script on my notepad in eight seconds. In fact, I did. Here it is:

The Fantastic Four DO SOMETHING.

Fantastic Four II: I found it hilarious how they depicted Galactus. In the comics depicted as a ridiculously-costumed purple titan in a stupid helmet who eats planets, in this movie a giant amorphous space flatulence.

Spiderman 3: Instead of actually showing more Venom, we'll just look at emo Peter Parker.

LOL I found it hilarious that you're talking about box office when Batman grossed a billion dollars. Box Office means s***, just because Transformers 2 sold a million dollars doesn't mean it's good. But you probably like that crap as well.

How can these four be your favorite if you don't even know his name is Green Arrow. Them standing in front of an american flag doesn't make a whole lot of sense either. The Justice League was a federation of multiple planets and nations not just the U.S.

The front four only half represent America. First Superman is an alien, Last son of krypton and all. Green Arrow is a political activist who was at Berkly during the shootings. Bruce Wayne epitomize American Capitalism. And as far as Green lantern it really depends on which one it was. Hal Jordan and John Stewart were both military men. Guy was a d.bag and the new guy kyle was a coward.

Batman is still the best super hero ever.

Batman and superman will forever be more awesome.

Also, I found DC comics more mature (and I don't mean violent) that marvel, that's just me.

i stand behind everything i said marvel brings it everytime and im proud to be their fan i love everything they do almost and i love the movies and the ultimate line was awesome it made me excited about comics and inspires me as i write my own and the end i dont feel from the dc u they nostalgia to me and marvel is exciting and new

I don't think graphic novels should count since that is a one time creation and the company is just the publisher. I look at this as the serialized characters like Superman and Hulk.

Now, while I love Batman, Marvel is my favorite company because I just like more of their stuff. In general, their characters are more complete and believable because they have more human flaws. Honestly I do not look at the movies because movie versions of ANY previously published work will never be as good. They spend all of their money on special effects and make it short so they cut out all of the depth. Perhaps that is why DC has better movies... I mean, how much depth is their to Superman really?

I like Marvel, there characters look better and have better background stories to me. I like the comics and films all done by them as well. DC is just too bland for me and not as interesting characters either.

I'd really say something to that if not for the fact we'll get into another marvel vs dc debate.

I am going to have to go with DC... they had Batman and the Watchmen.

Although I do love the X Men, but Marvel just had nothing else for me personally

And as far as it goes on the big screen... I was just upset with the X Men not having Gambit in the first two movies at all. He was my favorite character.

I love DC. Mainly because it has The Spectre, Super man and The Green Lantern. I liked Shazam to.

it's a difficult choice cause DC has superman and batman while marvel has spiderman and x-men but i have to choose marvel cause i love spiderman and x-men :3

I wish they do a new Marvel vs DC again, or at least another crossover.

I like both. But if I had to chose I would pick DC all day.

I think DC does better with continuation. Like Marvel has all these versions of universes or multiverse. So did DC, but dc got it worked out over twenty years ago.

I must say i like things from both, V for vendetta was amazing, but some of the newer marvel fils have not been as abd as i assumed they would be so on that note, Im going to go with marvel.
