Hello People Of Vizzed I would like to ask you a question What is the best dbz game ever?

So the game i came with is either
-Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2
-Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi
well im sorry for not adding Budokai Tenkaichi 3 on the list It's A great game and all but Clones,stages and the connection with manga/anime
were not that great. But with Ultimate Tenkaichi It had a great story With HD Scenes and raging blast 2 having a large amount of characters and barely any clones!

Now about xenoverse, my friend said it will be another Battle Of Z with horrible Graphics and bad game play what do you think.

I think the best dbz game is dragon ball z budokai tenkaichi 3... Mainly because I only played about 4 dbz games and I had the most fun with it.

mariomushroomX : The best DBZ game ever is Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3. It has better gameplay and graphics, awesome soundtrack too. I had the most fun with this game, and I recommend this game to DBZ fans who haven't played it yet!

in order to make it fair, i need to pick one for both genres (fighting and RPG, i consider xenoverse and RPG btw) for fighting,i will have to go with Raging Blast 1. That game has some of the best and most exciting gameplay of all. the graphics are great, down to even the smallest detail. the character roster is VERY extensive. (not as extensive as tenkaichi 3 but a close second) Raging Blast's story mode (aka dragon battle collection) covers ALOT of the story from the anime. i mean not alot of fights from the anime are left out here. hell, even the post-frieza gohan vs vegeta fight is in it. The stages are great. there are a number of different stages including west city which you can literally DEMOLISH by smashing your opponent through the houses and towers.
As for the RPGs, i will have to go with Attack of the Saiyans for DS. This was a great game that covers the entire series from the piccolo jr saga up until after the vegeta saga and even covers some events that were not shown in the manga or anime. such as goku fighting raditz's soul with Bubbles and Gregory as part of king Kai's training. or the events that occurred while the z-fighter were collecting the dragon balls to revive goku. The game's graphics pretty much hold up to standard sprite-based DS games but the game does have some nice remastered anime shots. also for whatever reason, none of the voices are in english despite all the text being translated...*sigh* monolith soft...but the game is extremely addicting. even in the side-quest of gathering the dragon balls (as many times as you like by the way) to get abbility points, money, and EXP very easily. 

For me would be dragonball z budokai tenkaichi 2 because I love how the gameplay is. The music is outstanding. And it is really enjoyable. If I am going to be really honest. The best one as of now is dragon ball xenoverse. I have heard the game is really outstanding and is far more superior to any dbz game that came before it. And it is true. I saw my brother play it on the ps3. It blew my mind, it like literally did. '-'

Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is amazing, but Xenoverse's character creation is undoubtedly the best thing that's happened to the franchise. I just love character creation in video games. Like in Soulcalibur V, the game says I've made about 70 custom characters, spending 20 hours in actual gameplay and like 40 hours in creation.

Budokai tenkaichi 3 is perhaps the best in the series. Many characters, good gameplay, improved story. I don't see what was not to like about it.

I've played most of the DBZ games, and I got to give it Budokai Tenkaichi 3. There are other games that have done things, I think, were better, but overall, the best of what a DBZ game should be is in Tenkaichi 3. The massive roster of characters, the large maps, how pretty much everything is destructible, having conversations while still fighting, so it doesn't break up the action, mid-battle transformations, blowing up stages, the insane amount of different attacks, fusions, etc... I could go on for much more.

   I did love the Ultimate attacks more in Budokai 3, but they cut down on those cutscene like attacks, so as not to break up the action. It kind of sucks when you get hit, and have to watch your character take damage for 10 seconds or so.

   In Xenoverse, the Create a Character is awesome. I also love how some missions consist of more than one map. The amount of customizable options like clothing and accessories is just massive. I do think the combat isn't as polished as Tenkaichi 3. And also, I HATE the random drop system... Makes you have to play a mission, for hours to get something that not even that great... Sometimes you get it fast, sometimes you don't get it... I hate random drops in games.

   So, yeah. The best one in my opinion is Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, by far.

Badokui tenkaichi 3, It's a great 2 player fighting game with a good chunk of characters ranging from Goku to Majin buu and  Omega Shenron.

Super sayian Saga's was good, but I didn't have as fond memories of playing that game vs the one above.

I liked Xenoverse, It's just the dlc packs for the game kinda dissappointed me with the last one.

Budokai Tenkaichi 3 was by far the best. I spent way too much time playing that game back in the day. My only regret is online play wasn't as streamlined as it is now and I couldn't compete worldwide playing. Other than that the game was (almost) perfect, and the best DBZ title to date
