So I got smash bros 4 three days ago. I like it a lot but there is one character that just flat out bothers me. That is little mac. Even before I got the game I wanted him to be my favorite character and use him a lot but now not so much. This is because he is so overpowered. One of the reasons is he has an extra bar most fighters do not have to unleash a very powerful punch that will almost instantly kill you.
 
So who is the most overpowered in your opinion?

But anyhow, his KO bar is pretty OP. But... his aerial game. Who do I think is the most overpowered? Playing online I can clearly see that Zero Suit Samus is super cheap, but from playing I can see that Sheik and Greninja are very powerful. Greninja'd counter <3

Personally I think this game might be the most well balanced in the series. Nobody seems to stand out as really OP I mean sure you got little Mac and his KO punch but OP really means it can't be countered and if you have good reaction timing you can clearly dodge the knockout punch. It seems every character someone claims is OP in this game has a way to counter it.

awesomeguy279 : For me, I think Palutena is the most OP in Smash 4. You have no idea how it took me tries to beat her at Lv. 9. Little Mac's bar is annoying, but his KO punch can be easily avoided for me.

she has no good moves (except that gosh darn jab and upsmash) unless you customize her. She also has among the worst aerials in the game.

Unlike the other games in the series, Smash bros 3ds and Wii U don't have 1 overpowered character instead there's a bunch of really good characters who have there own strengths and weaknesses. My personal favorite character is Sonic btw

The only thing I don't like about Palutena are her pretty sucky specials. Well, compared to her custom moves, the default ones she has are pretty boring. Her Aerials are actually pretty good, with one of her more lethal combos is a down throw into an up-air, and her down aerial can actually spike pretty easily.

But more on the subject of Palutena, I wasn't aware her down aerial was a spike. That's pretty cool I guess, but the only good thing she has is a very easy spike.

Much of /r/smashbros on Reddit HATES Diddy. Down throw HOO up tilt HAH. KOs at low percentages, hard to avoid with many characters.

I don't have much experience with Sm4sh, but I hope to get it before too long and weigh in on this.

Diddy Kong and Rosalina are too overpowered for me, so I don't like playing with them or against them, but I do play against them to practice for online battles.

Diddy was nerfed recently so I guess the only OP character now is Lucario.

You can KO at 10% with a Lucario at around 180. 10%. Absolutely ridiculous.

This was on Samus, not somebody light like Jigglypuff or Mewtwo.

I'd have to say Little Mac is pretty overpowered because of his combined speed and power. This is balanced out with his rather lousy air game and recovery though. Lucario is another powerful one, I was able to use his up smash and KO other characters at about 40%. This was after Lucario was at high damage percentage of course. 

One of my friends uses Diddy Kong and he was pretty disappointed to find out that he was nerfed. Once I am able to play as Mewtwo, I am sure he will be pretty overpowered as well. 

As of recently, Little Mac and Diddy Kong have both been nerfed considerably through updates (which is a shame as I used to main as Diddy, who is now about useless). Now, I 'm not sure what the balancing has done to make a new overpowered fighter, but it might be Rosalina.  Of course, I only say that as I have a friend who is great at Rosalina, and I almost always lose against him.

Meta Knight, simply because he has insane priority. He's banned in tournaments, and rightfully so. Because of this, neither I or my friends ever use Meta Knight. Because if you use Meta Knight, you're a fraud.

taterii : This is for Smash 4. Meta Knight was definitely OP as **** in Brawl, but they absolutely trashed his range and damage in Smash 4. Like his Mach Tornado was like 36% or something in Brawl if all hits connect but 8% in Smash 4.

As for me, Sheik all the way. There is literally nothing bad about her, and she's been voted top tier ever since the game's release and not been nerfed.

Smash 4's most OP character for me is Shulk, basically from his counter having such great range. Greninja is too OP as well, so he needs to be nerfed... just kidding. Diddy Kong can be OP if you are against a human opponent, as I never see a CPU use the Down Throw into Up Tilt.

Objectively, through frame data alone (combined starting/end lag between all given options and attacks), Luigi and Sheik are off to the races.

However, that's not all that matters. There's a lot more to determining who is OP than simply frame data. Although, oddly enough, one of those two is still pretty powerful (while I do agree that there is no Brawl Meta Knight in this game).

The closest thing to OP I see currently in this game is Rosalina and Luma. You can sit there all you want and say that she's not good after playing one on For Glory online, or one of your friends who doesn't know all of the competitive mumbo-jumbo, but playing a well-executed Rosalina and Luma is painful, stressful, and yields little reward.

There are counters to this character, but they are few, and far between. Also, if you aren't one of those characters, you have an exceptionally hard time doing anything against her. Luma especially makes most of her moves insanely safe, powerful, and open to additional follow-ups.
