Davideo7 : Hmm....I tried to download a new game called. The legend of dragoon, a psx game. It only downloaded to a certain point and then it stopped saying there has been and error in downloading try again. I tried another one and it said the same thing....this is the first that it has been like this for me. Crash bandicoot 2, crash team racing, final fantasy 9 and other few games. Downloaded well for me. So what seems to be the problem? It will get up to 23.4% and then say the error part...I've tried downloading it 3 times with no luck at all...

I just noticed now the thing about the games being avaiable in the RGR when I looked for a game. Love this because i was always hard for me to get to the page and I ended up selling my PSX a couple of times because of clicking the wrong button.

I just hope Sony doesn't serve you a Cease and Desist or something. They still make a good amount of money off of playstation one classics off of PSN.

Personally, I'm excited. I want to play more playstation games anyways.

Davideo7 : My Internet strength is fine....I haven't tried it again after that discouragement. I'll give it another go later on in the day. :/

Eniitan : You may have to delete the file from your computer before trying it again.

legacyme3 : That's true, I've always been scared of Sony. What I might do is make it so that the games can still be viewed and searched for in the RGR but if you don't have the Playstation item, it'd redirect you to the game's page in the VGR.

That's a fair idea, but I think even if you did that, there's a way for Sony to figure out you are holding stuff on the site.

I'm not sure there's a better idea though. When it comes to ROMs and ISOs, anything that is earning a company money can be pretty tough to pass off.

Davideo7 : honestly (on the goodwill topic) I picked up my n64 and goldeneye007 game there for $15, if you are looking for systems or games, goodwill is always an amazing place to go. Some people just don't understand the value of them.

Awesome to have all the PSX games available for everyone to see now! I can't wait to try them out again! I just need to get a few more Viz first...

I know it says all PSX games are being added, but just out of curiosity, will the Strike series PSX games be added (Soviet Strike, Nuclear Strike)? I had some fun with Soviet Strike when I was a kid, and it'd be awesome to play it again, along with the sequel.

Glad to see that the method to access PlayStation games will be a little easier for those who have the PlayStation item from the Item Store. I'm so close, I can barely contain my excitement.

Davideo7 : I've done that all my psx games are in the Mednafen new folder. But the legend of dragoon file is not in there with them....it didn't fully download remember? What I don't understand is that. It appears in my game name list on my profile on vizzed but, I don't see the whole folder itself....I've checked in every other folders, and I can not see it anywhere...

Eniitan : Sometimes the files get corrupted when they don't fully download and need to be deleted. I guess that means it's not in there.

Davideo7 : That's why I couldn't find it....whats the best solution for this? I don't think now I can download anymore psx games until, that problem is fixed. But what do you suggest? @.@

All entire commercial PS collection, PLUS the demos? PLUS any leaked protos? PLUS homebrew? PLUS all the net yazy (IDK how to spell that) discs? Please excuse this but GOD DAAAAAAMMMNNN!!!!!!!!!!! That's going to take a long time and, when its done I tell you that'll be the day!

But as leggy mentioned a possible DMCA takedown, you don't have to delete all of it, you just have to withhold the content (from everyone but you, even PSX item holders andd staff). So remember that, and be quick about it, try to keep that as small a event as possible, we wouldn't want Nintendo, Sega, Atari ect. to hear a word, they don't need ideas. And if Sony does hand out the takedown, it will be a LONG LONG time before you can get it back up, as you likely wouldn't get to 'til copyright expires (and any one copyright lasts 95 years).

But thinking of it, I know a site (rules state I'm not allowed to say what site, therefor I have to be general) that had some "demos" of games, in which they just toke the game, and deleted a lot of stuff so that it was like 50MB or less (ussually), but was still playable enough so that you could try it (say just level 1 or so). I know they didn't have many, but it would still be nice to see up.

Eniitan : The games shouldn't be in the Mednafen_new folder. That folder is for configuration files and save files.

The game should be in this location:

C:ProgramDataVizzedVizzedRgrPluginDownloads

Delete the file from there, and then retry playing the game.
