I dont think we need a thread about the legality of roms.
The original is not affected by the new one because downloading a version that isn't the PC version is not the same as downloading the PC version.
They are 2 sperate things even if the games are 100% identical, just on different platfroms.
That's not to say that it is legal, just that it's standpoint shouldn't be affected by a new version

Roms are almost always to 99% illegal, there's a few exceptions but Sonic ain't one of them.

So yes, any Sonic rom is illegal.

There are a lot more illegal things floating on the net, if they are making a PC game they should expect people to rip it and reproduce it. Maybe they saw how popular the rom was doing so they are making it on PC
