My favorite move from Pokémon would most definitely be Splash. Its a great move for everyone. Just kidding Splash sucks, My real favorite move is Metronome because it is every move.

My favorite move is shadow ball for 3 reasons.

1. Mewtwo used it before it was officially a move in the first Pokémon movie.
2. Almost all the Eeveelutions can learn it and I love the Eeveelutions.
3. The move looks really freaking cool. It's like a spinning ball of chaos and darkness flying at you with a ghostly presence waiting to absorb your soul and destroy it in the most painful manor possible all while you watch it happen in a matter of a second.

Well then >.> That went overboard for a second.

I don't know, there are so many good ones out there, but I do have a few that I think are worth mentioning.

1. Earthquake- It doesn't matter what type of pokemon you are using, this move does ridiculous damage for physical attackers, plus it offers a lot of coverage against common types.

2. Outrage- This is another good move, even with the addition of dumb fairies it is still a strong move that lasts fairly long. A move like this is best for some last minute sweeping.

3. Any reliable recovery move is good as far as competitive play goes, this includes moves like roost, soft boiled, milk drink, recover, etc believe it or not these moves are pretty helpful when it comes to stalling.

I also think that status moves like toxic and thunder wave are good because it can give you an edge if your opponent can't move!

There are still a tone of other good moves out there, but these are some of  my personal favorites.

Mine would be Aura Sphere.
Good Attack Power.
High PP.
No recoil damage.
NEVER MISSES. (Unless you use dig or fly)
It's a great move.

My favorite move is surf. It was always a pain to get. You can access most of the land with it and it s a powerful move for water types. I chose Surf for another reason you get to train my two favorite types of Pokémon with it. Electric and Grass.

I really enjoy other moves as well. Mega Drain, flamethrower, rest, thunderbolt, earthquake, razor leaf, snore, ice beam, and Dragon claw.

it was really difficult to choose from them all because I enjoy them so much. But I made my decision based of effort to obtain.

Draining Kiss. It's a Fairy type move, pink. Pink is awesome, best reason right there. Pink. The move has 50 Power, 10 PP, and 100% accuracy. Pink. It also restores your heath by 75% of the damage dealt, plus 30% if that Pokémon is holding a Big Root. Did I mention pink?

My favorite move is surf because it can be really strong and it can attack multiple pokemon. After that, I would also have to say Hydro Pump.

Payday clearly, the fact that is a get rich quick scheme just makes it all the better. Just imagine if you didn't have to just use it in battle, you could be a millionaire just that easy. Not to mention, only one Pokémon gets to learn it and it happens to be my favorite in Meowth.

If we were talking battle tactics though? It has to be Metronome just for the RNG Flavor, it can be any move and sometimes it will work... and sometimes it won't be good but that's half the fun!

My favorite move is probably just Thunderbolt. Of course, this might come from Ampharos being my favorite Pokemon, but Thunderbolt as a move is really solid overall. It can be learned through TM by a lot of Pokemon, Electric or not, and its type coverage covers the most common type in the game, which is Water. Unlike Grass, however, most Electric types are powerhouses in Special Attack, so Electric becomes much more of a danger to Water types overall. Also, like Ice Beam and Flamethrower, its move variations, it has 90 Power and 100 Accuracy, making it a really effective way to score neutral damage. With the added bonus of inflicting Paralysis if the RNG is on your side, Thunderbolt becomes either a reliable STAB move or a powerful backup to non-Electric Pokemon, making it one of the most useful in the games.

Now, I just need something for those dang Ground Types...

My favorite move in Pokemon history is ice beam because I love being able to shoot a beam of ice at my opponent plus it has a great combination of power and accuracy. There are plenty of other moves I love but ice beam is my favorite like I said.

I'm saying fly here. I love to be able to fast travel if I have already been somewhere instead of spending forever just to get back there to run a quick errand.

My favorite move..

There are too many to choose from so I'll just list 3 of them.

Scald - it has an base power of 80 and it has a 30% chance to burn you. That 30% burn has helped me out of many losing situations.

Baton Pass - I love to use this move to power up my weaker Pokémon like Bayleaf and Squirtle, just for the fun of it.

Toxic - In Generation 6 toxic now hit's your target 100% when the Pokémon is a poison type. Even when the opponent is airborne or underground. But when I'm not using a poison type this move does a great job of reducing the opposing Pokémon's health over time.

My pick has to be fly, the reason why I picked "Fly" well, I only use the fly move for 4 Pokemon (Yveltal, Noivern, Rayquaza, & Salamence), and I think it is a pretty neat mov, and you don't have to worry about your opponents attacking you, only if you can perform the move which 95% that it will.

I really like False Swipe. Everytime, I always use False Swipe to catch a legendary just in case I accidentally kill it. I'm pretty sure a lot of people can relate to this, as well. Combine False Swipe with a move that makes your opponent fall asleep, like Hypnosis, and you have yourself a perfect strategy for catching Pokemon.
