Is there any sort of measure in place where you take care of your games, tcg's, etc.?

Some people put their cards in a protective binder, some get slip covers for their cartridges, what about you?

I personally don't, but I really should

I only do this for the ones that are really valuable, I use special cases and sleeves. But for regular collection stuff I just lay them in a large box.

Yeah, I tend to protect my collectibles. I've spent a lot of money over the years on all the stuff I have and I'd hate to see them get ruined. My cards are put into cases, all 800 + comics are bagged and boarded and put into comic boxes, my autographs are all framed or put into acid free pages and stored in binders, etc. I keep a lot of my figures MOC now, but the open ones's are dusted every second week and kept out of the sun to prevent fading. Any collectibles that I don't have out, are stored away in containers.

I put mine in a plastic container. To protect them from moisture and dust.  Part of mine are also underground as well, the reason being is my area is tornado prone.

I use page sleeves and Binders for my "Singles" of my football cards. All my extras go into Card Boxes.

Yes I protect my Pokémon cards in an protective binder. Not all of my cards though only the rare and full hollow cards. I always try to get my hands on the full hollow ones since they can go for a decent amount of money if I ever decided to sell.

I do like to keep my collectibles in as good a condition as I can. When it comes to pokemon cards, I keep my favorite ones in sleeves and I put the rest in a binder for safekeeping. I like keeping things that I think will have a lot of value later on protected. It comes down to the collector, how valuable the item you are collecting is so you, and how far you are willing to go to keep it safe in the future. I wouldn't say I take extreme measures when it comes to keeping my stuff safe, but I do take pride in keeping it in pristine condition if possible.

Yes I do protect my collectibles because I plan on having it put in my will for my collection to be auctioned off and the money made from it to be split between my kids and grandkids. A nice little sum to ease any money problems they may be having and to make sure my grandkids can go to college if they want. Or if they decide otherwise and want to play then a nice vacation somewhere. Either way I'll know I did what I could for them even after I am gone. Sorry got off track a little.
To get back to the question ... yes everything I collect is in protective sleeves, cases, and storage boxes. I'm pretty anal about everything staying in as good of condition as possible.
