How in the world did I place? I made like 5 posts yesterday.

Well, I guess 1 point is better than zero.

I want to give everyone a quick reminder, especially since we have been noticing some of these things happening in the past couple of days, that we are monitoring any CP abuse that happens during this competition. Some of the things that we have encountered are unrealistic ratings of screenshots and videos without considering whether they deserve that rating, rating reviews without reading them, rating games of the same title but different consoles without actually playing them all, posting poor quality content, like videos and screenshots, etc etc.

We are still checking on the previous day's CP counts and actions and there is a good possibility that some of the rankings will be adjusted after removing some poor attempts on CP. There are no DQs though and this should serve as warning to be extra careful with how you earn CP and do site actions, because if we see another abuse on that, they can be revoked before the day is done and DQs would be more likely.

I agree with tgags, this TdV has been pretty interesting so far. I know tRIUNE is going to win the overall red and green jerseys without trying It's really cool to see an admin getting jerseys.

I see that I place for the blue jersey even though I made just 31 posts. I think I'm doing decent so far, I hope I will be able to get more jerseys and points.

Just one point? Wow, all of the other new members must be really scared after reading up on all the new rules and such. Though Reaper has been very active and has been posting a ton.

And I also wouldnt deny that the new cp stuff has made this just a bit more of a member vs staff contest, with more staff members Plus being given more opportunities for points, other ranks would get pushed back a bit to balance it out, though it only adds to the excitement of the tdv.

This has been the best TdV ever by far. I've seen almost no spam this month. There are a lot more people getting points than there used to be.

Today's double CP action is "Walkthrough".

I must pretty much be beat by now, If tRUINE gets 1st in Red and Green like he normally does, I would have to get 1st in Blue and Yello just to keep up, and I doubt I will be able to do much in Red and Green, I can't keep up with certain staff members.

Ok...I need make another reminder as I'm starting to see this again this month. The encouraging thing is that I don't see it as much this time as opposed to the previous times. For the review section, it is important that you write a good quality review at any time and it's no excuse for you to provide a bunch of bad reviews to get Viz or CP just because it's TdV month. HOWEVER, it is also important that you don't put spammy, worthless comments under the reviews as well, and I know this was a problem in the past and I want to make sure that it won't be as big of a problem now. So here's how you can tell if it's a bad comment: If all you have to say about the review is "oh great review, lots of detail, good length, so good" and then add vague comments on how you think the game is good or bad or you've played it or not played it, then it's spammy. Even if you are trying to correct the person or help the person to improve on their reviews, give some more detail on the comment. Don't just say "add more detail" or "make it better". That helps nobody!! Give more specific comments or criticism if you have any so that the author knows what they need to do to improve next time.

I had to go in and ignore word count for some posts for July 5th because of this particular reason. I will continue to monitor and do so again if I see more later, and if a certain member does this too much, then it would be DQ worthy.

Not gonna summon him again, but it's great to see that tRIUNE can finally win some jerseys. And I'm glad to see that so far, this has seemed like a pretty clean TdV so far. Nowhere near the spam levels of previous ones. As for me, that was as close to a posting spree as I'll have for quite a while, most likely.

Whoa, Singelli would have earned two more points if I didn't interfere (and he would have got 3 jerseys too).

Well, I feel proud of myself of winning a yellow jersey for the first time! (after all I finished my exam), I just hope I can keep that jer....*Looks up at today's competitors* well, forget that.....time for the blue jersey.

I was very happy when I saw that tRIUNE got the rainbow banner. Wow, the rainbow banner competition is really close! I'd love to see the rainbow banner holder keep changing throughout this TdV.

Pokefreak219 : Only 4 points separate 1st from 4th so anything can happen, I'm pretty sure this is the closest it's ever been this late into the competition because usually by now, 1 or 2 users have a huge lead on everyone else. I think having 2 Jerseys based on CP has helped balance the competition.

Davideo7 : That is true. The last time Ive looked at TdV stats, there was always that one person who seemed to do well in everything and get all the points, taking most of the hope from anyone wanting to win a jersey for the previous month, But only giving the slightest chance of winning one for the previous day if they worked hard enough and obeyed all the rules

I feel like the main reason that it balances it out (Other than preventing some spammy posts, like what happens in the many TdV's before) is because it gives people like tRIUNE (People who work hard in RGR than posting on the forum boards) a chance to win something from the TdV without changing much of their schedule. But like before, people from the forum board can still win these jerseys, but it is still nice to even bring it out to people who are more into helping RGR and do so a lot in a day. It can even put into perspective of how much one person does, which the numbers did actually shock me when i saw how much he could earn in just one day. I knew he was a hard worker, but once you see the numbers, it just seem to bring a whole new meaning to it. You see, i may have done 43 actions yesterday, but i was only able to earn about 26 CP from those actions.

Sorry for sandwhich posting, i just felt like i need to respond to that. And also sorry for the lengthy post, i seem to ramble and get off track from time to time and i hope i didnt do that.
