Honestly I don't have a single pokemon game (if you don't count brawl) and guess what? I like pokemon but what I think is stupid is that people who have one pokemon game always have more lots more they play the (practicly) same game over and over and spend all of their money (or their parents money) on pretty much the same game and another thing is is that people who have loads of pokemon games have no life and hardly have any friends besides friends they play pokemon with.
This thread is for issues of pokemon geeks that know all the whatever many pokemon there are (don't post how many there are please) and to overall cause people to stop being dumb.
Though, now that I've made this thread I know that only the pokemon geeks look at this and I'll only get crap about how thats not true (which for some people its not) so I ask you not to post here and go to the symalar thread in the video game poll.

Isn't it a bit hypocritical when you say Pokemon is the same thing over again when you call Mario 2 awful because it's different and there's no goombas in it?

I have to admit that calling pokemon stupid because of the games having similar plotlines is kind of retarted..... Every mario game I can think of is about peach getting kidnapped by bowser and mario going on a long, tedius, goomba-and-koopa filled adventure...... No one calls mario stupid because the plot being the exact same in every game with the exception of new places to get pwned by koopas until you remember to jump over them.....

Liking a game series and knowing a lot about it is not dumb. Would you call someone who learns all the different star quests and what you have to do in them in SM 64 dumb? Or someone who memorizes strategies for how to beat every boss in the LoZ games? My point is, that knowledge is not necessarily accumulated by spending your entire life playing those games. It's just knowledge accumulated during playthroughs. BTW, knowing all the pokemon is helpful when playing the games, especially if you know their types. That's how you win battles, by knowing what works or what doesn't. I like pokemon games, although I wouldn't call myself that much of a fan (the only pokemon games I own right now are here on Vizzed Board). I still have a good life, in fact I'm taking a couple of friends to the movies as my birthday party sometime in the next week or so. So don't tell people to get a life when we already have one!
