From my personal experience, there's been times where I've set the upload rate to 0 and my download rate was just fine. Of course, I could do this since I have a VIP membership with Underground Gamer which means no matter how bad of a seeder I am, I can't get my account deactivated.

However, with my internet provider, if I upload a lot of files, my download speed also gets slower. This isn't anything to do with torrents but rather just how my ISP does things I suppose.

wow, so I'm almost done the second season of X-Men but it's taking about an hour per episode (180mb)... so I'll be done X-Men this weekend hopefully... only 13 episodes per season so far...

but Pokemon (also 180mb per episode) is going to take a LOT longer. the seasons are huge and my upload is not as quick as I thought it was.... I might have to restrict my uploads to overnights cause I can't use this much bandwidth all day.

Send me the torrent and I'll do a season of Pokemon you're not doing yet. I was able to have the SatAM torrent running and everything else already there seeding and it not slow down Firefox. Though, since you voted to do it first, you can have the Viz. Just speeding up the process a bit. ^_~

I'm done downloading the first season of Spider-Man. It's the right SM series too. It's in 480p, mono audio though. I'll have to convert them to get the audio to stereo... hopefully it works like that, honestly not sure.

So I converted the first episode of Spider-Man to 720p. Honestly, it looks better, the audio is better(and stereo), but the file size greatly increased. It turned from 232mb to 389mb. I think the size is worth it, because the quality is greatly increased.
