This illusion isn't anything new, it's been around for a probably a century. It's a "top", called Benham's top, that when spun at different speeds results in people seeing slight shades of colors. Try it out and post what you see.

Wow that was pretty cool. I think I saw the color brown or a reddish-brown, I couldn't really make out the difference but it was one of those two colors. Also that hurt my eyes lol.

Interesting. I saw some light yellow closer to the center, a thin band of red farther out, and more yellow beyond that.

This is so cool. Atfirst the inner ring was yellow with dark streaks while the outer was bright yellow. After staring at it long, i got to watch the dark yellow turn to green while the bright yellow turn to a dark purple color 0_0

After staring at it for about 2 minutes straight (my eyes hurt) I seemed to see a bit of what seems to be yellow. It tinted the wheel. I couldn't see anything else however. It seems to be more effective if you open the image in a new tab so it goes faster.

I couldn't really look at this for longer than 30 seconds because I suffer from Epilepsy.. But I did see a band of green and blue about two thirds of the way into the circle. 

I assume it's something to do with perhaps how we perceive colours or it could be something that is just a natural occurrence in the world.

Either way all I know is that I'll be cursing the upcoming migraine I will get due to this

If I remember correctly, I saw yellow... but it kind of came and went, especially if I blinked.
