The best hack I would suggest would be Light Platinum, though I don't know much about it.

As for pokemon hacks I can definitely recommend pokemon snakewood, ash gray, pokemon light platinum, flora sky, dark rising, I and also liquid crystal. All of them are very good games in their own way and I greatly enjoy them as hacks, I would mostly recommend playing light platinum though, the game has two regions as well as 2 elite 4s and it is a lot of fun...that is all I will say about it, but it is definitely worth your time to play it since it is one of the most popular games on vizzed..
