I'm a huge family guy fan, better written, more funny and humorous, and it's well crafted, the Simpsons is too repiditive, it seems to be alot of the same old stuff, and really isn't as funny as family guy is to me. Family Guy is more versatile with its humor too.

I like family guy better. Simpsons has been around so long that I don't find it funny anymore. I've seen some of the recent episodes and t just feels like they're trying to hard to compete with family guy's randomness. Simpsons used to be sort of edgy and inappropriate for it's day, but now it doesn't even have a little edge. The Simpsons USED to make me laugh and now it NEVER does. I guess it's just the changing of the times and in my opinion Family Guy has taken over the mainstream cartoon genre.
The Simpsons have a very faithful fan base though. My friend Shaun still loves them and it's his favorite out of Family Guy, Simpsons, and South Park. I'm sure there are others like him.
I, myself, am a South Park and Family Guy fan. To me, South Park is the best because they are on Comedy Central and not on Fox, so they are allowed to get away with a little more.
When it comes to The Simpsons vs. Family Guy, I take Family Guy any day and another reason is because of Brian and Stewie. Those 2 characters are the reason I watch in the first place. I dont care about anyone else on the show. If I watched The Simpsons at all anymore (and i dont), it would only be for the occasional Homer Simpson moment that I actually find funny.

Family guy is a show on its own level that the Simpsons just doesnt have the caliber to match anymore. Back in its day Simpsons was entertaining but Family Guy is current. They literally reference real world issues that are current and thats what puts them one step ahead. You can relate more to a character thats more in "your" world.

All I know is that the last couple of family guy episodes have been horrible, especailly the one with stewie and brian in that bank vault.

And family guy reminds me of jay leno(bad thing) becasue they use the same setups for there jokes constantly.
