I'll just list all the games that use to scare me and all the games that kinda scare me today.

Goosebumps Escape from Horror Land
Earthworm Jim
Parasite Eve 2
Clock Tower 3
Fatal Frame 3
Kuon
Resident Evil 4
F.E.A.R.
F.E.A.R. 2
Extermination
(I'm sure there are more I can't think of right now)

I just love to play scary games. Which starts to limit the games because they don't scare me anymore. I just fly to games most of the time.

I bought them all at gamestops except for Parasite Eve 2 and Goosebumps and I played them in the dark on at night on purpose, just to get a scare.

I don't care what anyone says, Fatal Frame Crimson Butterfly. It's the only one I played but I was terrified to play that for more than 5 minutes alone. I rented it and put maybe a half an hour into it and never picked it up again.

Haha and this will make people laugh but Ecco the Dolphin.

I was scared by the F.E.A.R. 2 PC installation screen. I was wearing headphones and didn't realize how loud I had left the sound on, so when the sound for the screen came accompanied by Alma's face, I literally jumped back in my seat and cranked down the sound.

The first video game that actually scared me was the Zelda's Ocarina of Time. The first time I ran into the zombies with the high pitched shriek, it gave me an eerie feeling. Then when the zombie jumps on the back of Link and chokes him to death, I was very freaked out. I think it scared me, because I never expected something so eerie in a Zelda game. It was a great experience.

The game that scared me are:

1-Resident evil: outbreak(Imagine to be around 8 or 9 years old to see those zombies kill and eat people, and the scariest part is that it look real to me)

2-Fatal frame 3

3-Silent hill 4: the room(I can't talk about it)

4-Resident evil 2(find out what is scary about it by playing it)

Megaman 2; Mechanical dragon of death! You can't do precise platform jumping with that thing after you! Are you mad?!

Silent Hill 2; Obvious reasons I think.

Clock Tower 3; All that Chopin... And I didn't know how to beat the first level... (But man, when you finally figure out how to kill the first boss... MAN!)

HalfLife 1; omg zombie scientists!

HalfLife 2; poison headcrabs... And almost everything else.

Portal; Rocket turrets mostly... And that creepy computer voice.

Left 4 Dead; Zoey has startled the witch!

There wasn't a single game that has ever scared me. Now there has been games I have played before that have gotten my heart racing as if I was the character living in the moment.

The first scary moment I had while gaming was in Resident Evil 1. While walking down a hallway on the first floor, two dogs jump through the windows and begin chasing you. I jumped several times while trying to make it through this hallway. I don't know why but they seriously made me jump about three or four times before I could get through there. The second hunter I encountered also scared me. It jumps out from around a corner, total Rambo style. I was startled so badly that the controlled went flying out of my hands.

The most terifying game though has to be the first Silent Hill. Resident Evil may have been the first popular and well known survival horror game, but Silent Hill turned the horror up to eleven! hearing the crackling of the radio and walking down the fog covered streets was bone chilling.

when i was really little (im 19 now, so however long ago resident evil 1 came out, minus that from my age and there ya go), resident evil gave me nightmares. i used to have to watch my brothers play it because i didnt have another tv to watch. now that i look back on it, the game isnt scary at all. then a little while back doom 3 would spook me now and again, but it wasnt too bad.

another sorta scary one was condemned and condemned 2, probably because you have to use a flash light pretty much the whole game, so its hard to see. furthermore, in those 2 games, there were long periods of time where you were just walking around looking for something, or someone, and then all of the sudden something would pop outta nowhere and scare the hell outta me.

on a side note, playing Nazi Zombies on COD: WaW would leave me a little shaky after making it 17 rounds, but only when i was alone and in the dark. for some reason, i wouldnt get scared while actually playing the game, but afterwords i would be a bit jumpy xD

Legend of Zelda Ocarina of time: Those ReDeads scared the S*** outta me when I was about 4, and now that I'm 13, They still make me run away in terror whenever I see/here them. Now I can't play that game because I think they will randomly pop up, and just thinking about them gives me nightmares.

Majoras Mask: The theme for the last 6 hours is pretty scary, I always turn the volume completely off when I got there, but my T.V. would still produce the sound 0.o;

Vexx: when I was 7 I would play Vexx a lot, but I wouldn't when the time dial things went to night because then everything got all scary (The enemies got stronger, turn from harmless looking mushroom thingies to giant zombie bloodshot screaming monster thingies. and thats the easiest enemy! you should try that game and turn the sundials to night! The music... The bells... *Flashback* AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

But seriously vexx is downright creepy! at times... *Night is that time*

When I was younger, the Aliens vs Predator game for PC scared me. Just like in the Alien movies, the majority of the game is played in low lit areas, and the first time a face-hugger got me, I jumped. The other game that will constantly make me jump is Resident Evil 4. Even though I've played through the game numerous times, there are still points were I forget that someone is waiting for me to walk by.

The most recent 'scare' I had in any game was while playing Dead Space. I was getting all used to watching for any shadows to shoot at, and then as soon as I mastered that I entered a room where there was equipment hanging everywhere and swinging around, so I couldn't rely on that anymore. That got my blood pumping at least. Then there was this part where I was following a monster through some halls, it would stand at the end and wait for me to see it and then run around a corner, so I followed it for a little while, expecting to round the corner into an ambush. What ended up really happening was me getting attacked from behind cause I had been paying too much attention to what was ahead.

The only other gaming moment I can remember scaring me, was Super Metroid, when I was like 5. I would start running through the space station, and then I would find the Metroid, Ridley would appear, I'd freak out, and turn the SNES off. I was a pansy back then. I love that game now...

hmmm scariest thing huh, well thats a big toughey i was always easily scared when i was little. litterly the littest thing could pop up on the screen and i would jump. xD first i like to start it off with eternal darkness, the whole point of the game was to screw with ur mind and everything it just left me like wtf... oh my god! secondly, i now fear the blue screen of death forever and ever, cause i freaked out so horribly when that happened cause i thought there was something messed up with my gamecube. second has to be both of the conker games (bad fur day and live and reloaded) did anyone eles but me think the haunted house chapter was actully a bit scary with all the zombies... and the fact that u turned into a bat? 3rd. silent hill, the static noises and yet of course pyramid head... yes he scared the crap outta me badly i shut off my game when i saw him lol..

4-Resident evil 2(find out what is scary about it by playing it)

Silent Hill 4 is one of the scariest games I've ever played. It's also one of my favorites though lol. It's also the only game that creeped me out.

Your refering to Mr. X for RE2 aren't you?
