juuldude : If you enjoyed superstar saga (or any other Mario and Luigi game), you would enjoy Dream Team. I've completed the game (I stopped level grinding half way through and ended up using easy mode for every fight though), and I've got to say that it is a very good 3DS title. I would consider sending my copy to you when I'm done with it, but IDK if you got a 3DS, and if you did, region lock would get in the way (My copy is NTSC U/C, I think the netherlands is in the PAL region, but then again my geography on the eastern hemisphere is horrible).

I had a kick where I'd play things on the hardcore side, but recently have settled into the moderately difficult to hard zone. I want my brother to get into RPGs sometime, and I wanted to know if he might enjoy it (he likes games where he can just mess around and aren't too difficult, especially racing games). I'm debating between a lot of games right now, and want to get something the both of us would enjoy. He has a thing against Mario games, but I feel if he were to try this game, he'd enjoy it.

Even though you can have 2 saves on one cart, it would not be a fun game to your brother to the sounds of it, try Mario Kart 8 or (as much as I dislike it) Mario Party Island Tour, your brother may like those and I think you would too if you like Mario. And if he likes to mess around in games a lot, FPSs and open world games may be more his thing (try a hack 'n' slash open world kind of game, I'd list a good one, but I can't think of a game like that to begin with).

My favourite Mario boss is the final Bowser fight in Super Mario Galaxy, Galaxy was my first Mario game (Well, main series Mario game) and it was actually difficult for 8-year-old me, but actually beating the game was really satisfying! Then my Wii was stolen... and my progress was gone... GAHHHHHHHH!
