This thread is going to be kind of a two in one. I really want to know a good way to display my boxed Sega Genesis games. What should I buy to do so, what looks and works good? I would like to know things I could go to a store and get for cheap that would get the job done. Right now I am using a book case to store alot of my games and it is not efficient. I would also like to know good ways to display other games.

Right now I display a lot of my games on two book cases, I plan on getting a cassette case and move my loose Genesis carts to get. I do have some consoles and games stored away in large tubs that was originally used to store vhs tapes.

So how do you store and or display your collection?

I have a... uh... Whatchamacallit for my game collection. It's like a dresser, but it's plastic and clear (so you can see what's inside). I have a drawer for PS2 games, a drawer for XBOX 360 games, a drawer for Guitar Hero/Rockband games (I dunno why), a drawer for Wii and GameCube games, and a drawer for game controllers. For my N64 and SNES games, I keep them in this weird red box. I don't think they were meant for the games to be there, but they fit almost perfectly. My only NES game (SMB3) and all my Atari 2600 games are down in a box in the basement collecting dust (the NES doesn't even work and half the Atari games are tough to start up).

I also keep the games for my portable consoles in my closet on a shelf. I have cases for the DS games, a small box for the GBA games, and some cases for the GBC/GB games.

SO WHAT YOU SHOULD DO: Put your games in a clear chest.

TheFadedWarrior : I use those kind of things for my clothes and my daughters clothes. I prefer to have my games in a shelving kind of display, where everything is easily visible. I really just don't know what to use. I see plenty of really cool looking displays in videos by game reviewers, I would like to know where they got their shelves and book cases or what ever they use. I did keep all my games in boxes everyone so I am moving in the right direction.

Currently I just keep my games somewhat organized on a giant black bookshelf however in due time when my collection of games increases I'd like to have a larger place to keep them in, what exactly that will be I'm not entirely sure of yet.

Well, I only collect baseball cards, which I store in boxes and folders, so I wouldn't know much about games. You could try one of those tall narrow stands that have slots to slide the game boxes in, I think one stand can hold about a hundred or so.

I plan on displaying my Amiibo figures on my desk lined up next to my computer monitor, as I have a lot of room for them. I will need more room though if I get the likes of Marth, Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, Captain Falcon, Pit, and Little Mac, along with all of Wave 3 and Wave 4.
