It came three months too late, but I have it now.

Eye Strain.

It's not -that- bad right now. It was a different story this morning. =/

Surprisingly, it's my first time experiencing it. Suffice to say, I went waaay overboard on the time I spent on the computer this week (higher than my normal crazy level). At this time last year, I was -not- a computer person. I promised myself that it's not going to happen again =P 

Anyway, enough about me.

What about you? Have you ever had it?

Well, right now, nope, I don't have eye strain.... (yet?) Well, hopefully I don't get it. Thanks to seeing this thread, I will now (try to) be more alert-ful from staying on my laptop for too long.

I think I may have had it several times when I'm using my phone to read or playing a handheld game, but never when I use my laptop.

I guess I get eye strain much faster if the screen is like, very near my face.

I used to get it a lot, since I spend way too much time with video games and the computer.
I haven't had it since I got an updated prescription for my glasses, thankfully. It's a real headache. (heh)

I actually get it quite often sadly. More than two hours and I'm pushing my luck. Unfortunately, mine are accompanied by the most ferocious  migraines. I try to avoid them, but it's extremely hard when at least 50% of your work requires computers. I try to space it out so I can take a thirty minute brake between stints.

UFC : I have sadly. It's astigmatism problem. They just re-prescribe a new set of glasses every six months or so for the optometrist and send me off with migraine medication I try not to take for the regular doctor. They're hoping that eventually my eyes will correct themselves a little bit or I'll choose surgery, but I'd rather wait until there is no other choice for the latter option. Besides, it's probably better to limit myself a bit. Definitely makes sure I get other things done.

lol, I have had it from the computer - just like you I was never a computer person, but have been for the past 4 or so years.

I had to take a few days away from the computer when I got eye strain - it almost made me dizzy. All is good now though as I've adapted to the screen.
