I would have to say Whis from Battle of Gods.He's many times stronger than Goku who alone is able to destroy the universe many times over,and Whis knocked out the god of destruction,who is a little stronger than Goku,with only a light chop.But who knows,by end of Dragon Ball Z,Goku will probably have surpassed him.

For me one of the most overpowered characters is Kusanagi, Godou, he was inherited the power to slay gods, I'll just leave it at that. He slayed a couple gods and absorbs their powers, I think that is OP ability in itself.

I'd have to go with Light Yagami (Kira) with the Death Note, being able to kill anyone in any way he wants with just their name and face seems very over powering. Not to mention it's impossible to pin a murder on the user of the Death Note since there's no evidence at all. You could see someone in a photo album or the internet get their name and face and they're dead. You can even make them do stuff before they die, ex: write a suicide letter.

But I'd also have to consider Enel from One Piece who ate the Goro Goro no Mi (Rumble-Rumble Fruit) to be over powered since he's basically electricity and can even reboot his own heart and body if he dies. I think ichigo from bleach is the best if u count both his form from the fourth movie and his final getsugatensha plus the info I cant remember where this is from now so it might be just rumors but supposedly he is so powerful that he was sealed at birth and if that seal where ever released existence would end in other words he is so strong if he stopped holding back he would annihilate everything causing even the afterlife to end also death cant do much to him cuz if he dies he just becomes a full soul reaper instead of a substitute

Oh I forgot to mention Fei Fong Wong from Xenogears.  Haha this guy is OP to the max.  Has both the power of God and a Demon.  First scene he blows up a town.  Every time someone tries to kill him he gets more powerful.  His girlfriend tries to kill him I think three or four times.  His friends try to seal him away by freezing him and he escapes.  He throws the main ship like a base ball...  Oh don't forget in the game itself he can use the spell "Big Bang" which yes it's the spell to create the universe...  Not even the other half of his soul can defeat him!  Even if he does die he rebirths a few hundred years later.  On top of that he has a giant mecha "Gear" that increases his power.....  Yup very OP!
