tgags123 : Just to make sure you should check the year the card was made. Not the year it says they played. Cause i used to think i had a Crosby and malkin rookie card until i realized the card was made a year after their first season.

mourinhosgum : I did. I checked the year on the card and the year they started playing. That's actually how I found out that my Mike Trout card is actually a rookie card even though it doesn't say it on the card like most of them do.

GAAAAAHHH!!!!! Somebody actually did this!!!!!    Bye the way, there is a difference between Rookie card and rookie year. If a player makes their debut after the year starts, the cards have already been released, so their rookie card is the next year. Plus playing time makes a difference. The current mets Catcher played 31 games last year and because of this, 2014 will be his rookie year.

Now it's time for ROOKIE CARDS!!!!! I so wish I could TRADE with you!!! Especially for Matsuzaka.

From this list, I have Trout, Harper, Strasburg, Darvish, Bumgarner, Gee, and Heyward. AND SO MUCH MOAR!!!

Some Matsuzaka Cards

My Jose Fernandez card

Possibly My Best Rookie Card... Joba Chamberlain Auto Rookie.

These aren't rookie cards, but they are High End Prospect cards of my favorite player, Matt Harvey.

And then I have so many more cards. I have a bunch of Mets rookies... d'Arnuad, Niese, Murphy, Parnell, Davis, Lagares, Eric Young Jr., Zack Wheeler, Ruben Tejada, Lucas Duda, and more. I have every 2014 Topps Series 1 rookie cards including 2 Xander Bogearts cards.

And then I have over 2000 more rookie and prospect cards all the way back to Barry Bonds in 1987.

zanderlex : Nice! I have the Matsuzaka in the top left, and a Matsuzaka that you don't have. It looks like this:

My cousin has the Japanese Matsuzaka card in the middle.

The Chamberlain one is really cool. Imagine how much it would be worth if he was actually a decent player.....

I am a Yankees fan, but I have some Mets rookies too, including Thole (is he even a Met anymore?), Ruben Tejada, Dillon Gee, Eric Young Jr., and others.

And I know the rule with the rookie seasons. In order for it to count as your rookie year, you need to have at least 130 at bats or 50 innings pitched, or have spent 45 or more games in the majors. That is why my Mike Trout is a rookie. He only had 123 at bats in 2011 and 40 games in the majors.

2 Xander Boegarts cards? Tell Leggy, he will get jealous
