SuperEdeze : That is the worst post I have ever seen. At least type some words please. A nine year old knows better.

Now next time, make reasonable posts.

Oh, I'm not that interested in competing. It's pretty tough for people like me.

Oh, a contest on your favorite VGM, well this is interesting. I think I can name a few right off the bat that gives me a good feeling and I personally love these. Might think of more along the way, but here are the two I can think of.

Megaman And Bass: Boss Theme
This is a song that has a sort of feel to it like it somehow pumps you up for the battle ahead. It's really upbeat as well as a Rock type feel to it and giving it some major credit.
...and here is the other one.

Mario Tennis (GBC): Main Menu
Everytime I hear this song when I go to the menu of the game, I feel a bit passionate. It's a cheerful and beyond all things a pretty amazing song. It has this nostalgia in it that always makes you want to listen to it for many years to come. I would of put the N64 version of this song on, but I don't think I have a good enough of a recorder to do so.

Man being restricted to only 5 songs is hard. There are so many games with good soundtracks like Chrono Chross, heck anything by Square/Enix. If I could I would do Night Striker 6th Boss theme or Something from Final Fantasy. But I don't have the time to play that far into those games or suck too much to get to the song. That 6th Boss of Night Striker is freaking Native Faith from Touhou! While I was looking for songs, before settling on the ones I choose, I can't believe how many bad games had awesome songs in them. Oh I also replaced Shin Onigashima with MMX6's Infinity Mijion theme.

I now have added two more songs though there is one song afterwards that I really want to get, but I have to play through the game first to record.

The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap - Overworld theme
There is just something about this version of the sound that in particular makes me cheerful. It has more of a adventurous feeling to it an and particular what makes it already so good is the fact it's already a classic theme many Zelda fans alike know.

Aladdin (SNES) - 1st Stage
Mmm, this song. Besides the fact it has some good instruments put into it, The Trumpet is what sets the stage being more out there in the song. This truly is a classic.

Phew! I finally uploaded my fifth, and final, submission. I thought I wasn't going to make it.

I can't wait to see the results.

Finally! I got around to posting my final favorite, though it's short, it's so satisfying to listen to.

Sonic Advance - Secret Ending / Super Sonic Ending
Why do I like this so much? Well the answer is that whenever you listen to this tune after your hard work of getting all seven chaos emeralds, it's just so pleasing to hear and gives you so much pleasure. Wish there was an extension of this theme though. Other than that, I love it.
I'm so glad I finally got the last one done, hope for the best in the results. Good luck to everyone else!

This is my forth, and possibly final, entrant for the contest this month (and just in time!)
The track for Twinpeak Mountain is one of the things that made me excited between the demo and the game. Sometimes it seemed I would wander around the mountain for no other reason than to hear the music. I don't know if PlayStation is being counted as "retro" game music, but if nothing else this is my chance to share it with everyone. Enjoy

My first entry is the title theme of Pictionary on NES. Not a very good game overall, but the main theme was genuinely excellent, and I hope the rest of you enjoy it as well.
http://youtu.be/SyxjWjlcriE

Second, the main theme from
Solstice on NES, which was actually composed by the same guy as the Pictionary theme. Some might call that cheating. I wouldn't. Again, not a great game, but the music (or at least this song) is great. If you like progressive rock along the lines of Kansas or Rush, definitely check it out.

Third, and this time from a game that actually is very good, we have "Bloodlines" from Castlevania: Dracula X for the SNES, my very favorite of the series. Yes, I like it even more than Symphony of the Night, if you can believe that. This game is awesome, and so is this song, especially the beginning. I've intentionally died on the first level many times just to restart the song.
http://youtu.be/jv1teVfkN1c

Fourth, and I'm surprised nobody else has done this yet, is "Prelude" from
Final Fantasy on NES. It's timeless, a true classic.
http://youtu.be/7n0QQSbsuos

Lastly, we have "Rugged Terrain" from
Ninja Gaiden on NES. Kind of an obscure choice, but this is probably my favorite track from one of my very favorite NES games, and one that's full of great music.

For the record, I have tried adding the videos for
Castlevania: Dracula XFinal Fantasy, and Ninja Gaiden onto their pages here on Vizzed, but it won't work. I've tried the regular URLs and the shortened ones, but it just keeps saying the videos can't be found. I hope that doesn't make them ineligible.
