My childhood was staking them up into a line, and pushing one over and watching all the rest of them fall. I would always hate when one of them would,t work or when it would fall before I was even done setting it up. It was just so much extra work then.

I generally just try to make complex things by standing them up to make pictures or something, then knocking one over and having it knock all the others down in turn. It's amusing, but I don't do it often because of the amount of time it takes (it can get boring lol).

To be honest I don't really play the game as much anymore. What I like to do with domino's is to throw them around like against the wall when I'm bored. I use like dropping them inside my goldfishes bowl. Of course I stack a whole bunch and make them all fall down together but I can't spend 5+ hours on that alone.

I have also played various math games using dominoes over the years, though usually they were not all that fun. My favorite thing to do with dominoes though, is to line them up, and knock them over, watching as each domino hits the next. It is really great if you have more than a hundred dominoes, as the chain reaction lasts for a while, unfortunately, I rarely have enough for that, nor do I have the time, and someone usually ends up knocking it over before I can finish anyway...
