In 3rd grade, once I decided to stay up all night playing video games. I was super tired, and while the teacher was talking, I dozed off. I got sent to the office, and I had to go home early. But at least it was only 3rd grade.

Yep. Multiple times. The teachers weren't boring, it wasn't anything like that. The truth is: I used to go to sleep around 2-4 AM, so when I had class at 7AM... yeah, I was tired as hell. My own fault.

I still managed to get through School, even if I slept in half of the classes ^^

Only once. It was during English class where we were just reading. I hadn't slept in ages and I was sick so i just put my head down and slept for 15 minutes very lightly.

I have at nap time in kindergarten and when I fell asleep in second grade. Lucky for me though the teacher just woke me up and I was not in trouble at all.
 
 There was also a time in 3rd grade where I just could not stay awake so the teacher allowed me to sleep.

Anyone remember the icestorm that hit Birmingham Alabama? Yeah, my mom spent 3 hours trying to get home from work, a drive thats usually five minutes. People were driving four-wheelers to get their kids from school. I personally slept in a desk sitting up, didnt wanna sleep on the hard tile floor. Two most uncomfortable nights of my life.

No though I have come close a few times when I've been really tired since I hadn't gotten enough sleep the day before. Which I'm guessing the teachers has noticed some time. I haven't really been closing to falling asleep in school in a while though.

I think I feel asleep one time in class, but the teacher wasn't even mad because I was the only person that never got anything but an A in his class, so when I fell asleep after finishing his final with a 96 on a 250 question test, and he came over, and said, "Dude, go to sleep. I can see you are tired. I already graded your test... You got a 96 percent... shhh... Go to sleep. I will wake you up when the bell rings if it does not wake you up."

Well since it's Summer now, of course I don't anymore

But I was the kid that always is asleep. In my physics class I would literally sleep every day. The teacher didn't care though because she knew that I learn by hearing and I could "hear" it while sleeping and still be able to do the work without a problem. In most other classes the teachers just yell at me to put my head up. I've never been sent to the office for sleeping but I've slept way more than others who have Most of the teachers like me because, as far as they know, I don't cause too much trouble.

Almost. Last year I had history first period. (I have to wake up at 5:30 AM for school by the way). My history teacher was nice and sort of funny, but he was boring when doing his lessons. I almost fell asleep numerous times in that class, but I managed to pull through.

I also almost fell asleep in health class once or twice. That's a little odd since health was in the middle of the day. I guess my teacher was just that boring

The only time I have ever slept at school was in high school during final exams. I know that might sound very strange, but here's the thing. If you received an "A" in the class, then you were exempt from the final exam. During the week of final exam, on the Thursday of that week, you went to your 1st, 3rd, and 5th period classes. And on the Friday of that week, you went to your 2nd, 4th, and 6th period classes.

One year, the only classes that I was exempt from were my 3rd and 4th period classes. Since you can't leave school property once you arrived, I had to still go to my 3rd and 4th period final exams. Granted I didn't have to take them, but I still had to show up. So I did the only thing I could think of...I slept. And my cool-as-hell 3rd and 4th period teachers had no problem with it. I got to sleep during class!

Yeah, I use to sleep during school, and especially during Algebra and Study Halls if I had nothing to do. To me, the Study Hall was a "nothing to do" hour for me more often than not. Since my first few hours give NO homework. It's kinda awkward. Especially for a morning study hall.

Never once. I'm too worried about getting in trouble. I see a lot of people in important classes sleeping and pretending to be reading or something but I couldn't do it. I have a perfect discipline record and I'd hate to tarnish it. I'd like to sleep in some classes though, like CTSS, which is a block study hall that lasts for two whole periods.

Anyone who says they have never slept in school is a dirty liar. I know a student who was on honor roll carrying solid a A in every class and scored a perfect score on the ACT. Yet I saw him fall asleep during school. It wasn't in class but at school no less.
