UFC : I see where my confusion was. I read that to see the true ending, you wait at that hour glass for like 15 minutes. So I looked a quick video to confirm it. The video I saw did this- he beat the last boss to see that ending. Then he loads it back to the beginning of the fight and dies at the boss to see the alternate ending. So I thought that second fight was the 'true' ending for waiting at the hour glass and all. I misunderstood it.

rcarter2 : Ok cool. I wasn't sure how to beat the game because I have never seen the second level lol. Are you liking it even though it is really hard or did I just give you a pain in the butt to play?

GenesisJunkie : I really like the overall concept. The story and characters are pretty cool. I think that the execution in the gameplay felt a little sloppy, but I think it is still a fun game. I am enjoying it. The music is pretty neat too. It is definitely unique, and I am surprised I have never heard of this game until you posted here. Once I got the hang of the use of different weapons and the potion spells, it opened up the game for me a lot.

Same game, just a different challenge as it were, if you're interested, let me know, if you'd rather keep it as it is, then that's fine too, just thought you might find the new challenge a little more worthwhile, for a game like Push Over, since it's a pretty large game overall, perhaps what I have in mind may make it more bearable, and, while not technically deathless, my previous bet of 1000 bonus Viz for no fails is still valid.

Andae : I'm okay if you would like to make a change on a challenge I haven't started yet. I am interested in what the change is. Will have to depend on what the challenge is exactly, since the point of this thread is to do deathless runs. What did you have in mind?

rcarter2 : Well, it's more along the lines of a deathless 'time attack' as it were.

To save on memory, and subsequently, upload time, I propose this; Instead of simply running up to LVL 40 and calling time there, why not see how far you can go within the space of just an hour, you will earn 50 Viz per level (10 levels should be easy to do in around half an hour, so that's half the original bet) and, because of the myriad of pitfalls and hazards, you still have 5 failures (Not including deaths, I.E, walking off the edge of the map into oblivion, or falling a great height and killing the flea, but the fails I'll allow are breaking tiles, the chain stopping and preventing further progression and the Trigger tile no being the last to fall, and running out of time.) after the 6th failure, it's classed as a loss on your end.

So, basically, it's 1 hour, aiming for deathless (But not fail-less in general) to clear as many stages as you like, I'll allow you to go over an hour if you're part way through a stage, obviously. for 50 Viz per stage, and a bonus of 1000 Viz if you don't fail or die at all in that hour.

Because of the type of game, I'd say that's as close to 'deathless' as it's going to get, really.

I think I would like to take the opportunity to get a good feel of the game first. I did a little research, and I read that the game can be beaten in around an hour. I would like to try to do that. I am sure if I can do it deathless, I should within a reasonable time.

GenesisJunkie : I added a little segment on my original post. Just so people be assured that it is me playing and not just some video I found on the Internet, I would like people to tell me to do something very specific. In this game, there are a few things I can think of. In the options menu, I can cycle the difficulty settings however many times you choose (I will end hard mode, since that is what I play). Or since the beginning of the game, there are no enemies, you can hold my swords out, and move them in whatever directions you tell me to. Again, make it something specific that would not likely be found on someone else's video.

rnfoxtrot : Re-read my first post here. You clearly didn't even look at the requirements. The game must be from the RGR. This isn't a challenge for random steam games. Second, 1,000 Viz maximum bet. Third, no games that take more than a couple of hours to play through. When recording gameplay, the files are stored as mov. and they are huge. A 20 minute video can be 2-3 gigs. Recording a game with 240 levels will likely create an 12-18 gig video on my computer to convert.
