You all have decided that the only option you have is to get the hell out of there. Which is a very smart decision.

You all successfully escape Bass' Dark Blast attack and sprint to the big building in the center of Downtown. Unfortunately for you guys, Bass has decided to follow you to said building.

Treble Bass: "I'm surprised that you managed to dodge my last attack. I'll admit that you are not complete junk...but you all are still scrap metal to me."

Vanish Woman: "We need to get to the Main Room ASAP!"

Luna Man: "Bass...I'll surpass him soon. Just you wait."

Zan'ei Man: "I told you this wouldn't end well."

Wire Man: "The building is right ahead!"

You all reach the building and are prepared to rush in when Bass suddenly appears in front of you.

Treble Bass: "How pathetic. Time to finish you off!"

All: "AHHH!"

Treble Bass: "DARK BLAST!"

A flash of darkness completely surrounds you. Are you dead? Is it game over? It should be...

Suddenly you hear a whistle.

Protoman Theme

You open your eyes and see...PROTO MAN! He blocked the attack with his shield.

Proto Man: "Bass...what are you doing here?"

Treble Bass: "Well if it isn't Proto Man."

Proto Man: "Answer me!"

Treble Bass: "I have no reason to talk to you. Prepare to die!"

Proto Man turns to you four.

Proto Man: "Get inside now! Once your in there you'll be safe! GO NOW!"

You all get ready to run inside, but part of you wonders if it's right to just ditch Proto Man.

Proto Man: "Don't you dare think about fighting alongside me. You'll just get yourself killed. Hurry up and make your way through the Outer Hall to the Inner Sector. Meet Roll there, and she'll bring you to the Main Room. GO!"

Treble Bass: "None of you are escaping. DARK BLAST!"

Proto Man uses his shield to block the attack once more. You four use the opportunity to get inside the building.

Outer Hall Theme

You all pant for what seems like hours, thankful that you are alive.

Wire Man: "Thank goodness. We're alive."

Zan'ei Man: "We owe our lives to Proto Man."

Vanish Woman: "I still can't believe that he saved us. Talk about good fortune."

Luna Man: "Oh please. Bass just wasn't good enough to catch us. Duh!"

Zan'ei Man: "You can't be serious..."

You all look around, finally realizing where you are. You see a sign hanging above a fancy mini waterfall. You all look to your left and see two robots talking. You look to the right and see a mini shop. What to do...what to do.

You can choose to do one of the following:
- You can go to the mini shop
- You can go to the mini waterfall
- You can go to the two robots talking and ask for help

Well since I am wire man going in to water would most likely end up in me killing myself. I want to go talk to the robots.

"So thats protoman huh, the bot my design was based off of. I need some time to think alone im heading for the water fall. Dont wait up"

Bass is very strong. I think I will go to the waterfall for quiet contemplation so I can come up with different strategies to employ against him.

You have decided to go to the robots. So you leave the rest of the group to go talk to the robots. But as you approach, you see that they are actually playing a game.

Unknown Robot 1: "Alright fine. You win. Here's your 250 screws."

Unknown Robot 2: "Thank you very much."

They stop playing their game and look at you walking towards them. They both turn and the smiles on their robot faces disappeared.

Unknown Robot 2: "Who are you?"

Wire Man: "I'm Wire Man! Nice to meet you."

Unknown Robot 1: "Wire Man, eh? You definitely sound like an electric style robot."

Wire Man: "I am, actually."

Unknown Robot 2: "So what's someone like you doing here?"

Wire Man: "Well, me and my friends need help. We don't know what to do."

Unknown Robot 2: "We'll help you...if you can beat us!"

Wire Man: "Beat you? What...why would I fight you?"

Unknown Robot 1: "Fight? Bagagagagaga. Don't get us wrong. We don't wanna fight ya. We mean a good ol' game of Card Gambling."

Unknown Robot 2: "That's right. We'll help you guys out if you can beat us in Card Gambling."

Wire Man: "Uhhh...what happens if I lose?"

Unknown Robot 2: "Lose and you'll see...hehehehe."

Unknown Robot 1: "Well, what ya gon do?"

You all chose to walk to the Mini Waterfall.

You watch as Wire Man runs off towards the two robots to your left. You watch him go by and then you make your way towards the mini waterfall.

Vanish Woman: "Bass...how in the world can we possibly beat him..."

Luna Man: "So that's Proto Man...I can't believe that I was based off of him."

Zan'ei Man: "Lets not worry about them too much. I'm sure Proto Man can handle Bass. We need to get to the Inner Sector."

You three continue to think about the two robots that clashed outside when you look up and see the mini waterfall right in front of you.

Zan'ei Man: "This is pretty cool. I can't believe that they actually have a mini waterfall in here."

Vanish Woman: "It's quite the attraction. I wonder if there is more to this waterfall than meets the eye."

Luna Man: "You worry too much. Just enjoy the view."

You look down and see a riddle at the bottom of the waterfall. It reads:

As the day breaks out, I grow stronger,
As the night approaches, I grow longer,
My power is in the mimicry of others,
I can mimic men and robots of all different colors,
The reality that exists cannot be denied,
For I am what most consider eternal and divine,
If you guess correctly that which you seek,
Then follow me into the depths of which I speak.

Vanish Woman: "What in the world could that mean?"

Luna Man: "I have no idea."

Suddenly you look behind you. something comes through the door. You spend seconds thinking about who it could be, then your heart nearly stops when you realize who it is.

Vanish Woman: "Is it..."

Luna Man: "It is."

Zan'ei Man: "I can't believe it..."

All: "ZANBATO MAN!"

Zanbato Man walks over to you and you both greet him.

Vanish Woman: "Where in the world did you go?"

Zanbato Man: "I don't know why, but for some reason I didn't want to be a part of this anymore. But then I saw you guys running from Bass, so I came to try and rescue you."

Luna Man: "Why would you do something like that? You're not even strong enough to beat me or Bass."

Zanbato Man: "Be quiet. Anyway, I tried to fight alongside Proto Man with Bass...and...and..."

Flashback Begins

Treble Bass: "Why did you save those weaklings?"

Proto Man: "Bass. You should know why. Because I defend those who can't defend themselves. Now leave, or I will finish you off."

Treble Bass: "Ha. You really think you can defeat me? I guess I should hurry up and finish then."

Proto Man: "But answer me this. Why are you working with the man you despise?"

Treble Bass: "Working? I couldn't care less about that old fool. I'm simply interested in his project."

Proto Man: "Project?"

Treble Bass: "That's right. He has a project that will supposedly revolutionize robots, and my objective is simply to destroy it."

Proto Man: "So this 'project' that you mentioned...why not just destroy it now?"

Treble Bass: "DARK CANNON!"

Proto Man's shield is knocked into the air and falls on the floor.

Proto Man: "Why you..."

Treble Bass: "Enough talk. Get ready to die Proto Man. DARK BLA-"

Suddenly a slash hits Bass.

Treble Bass: "What the..."

Zanbato Man: "How dare you...how dare you attack my friends."

Treble Bass: "Another one? And you even had the guts to hit me. How unfortunate...you actually could have lived to see tomorrow."

Bass prepared to attack Zanbato Man.

Treble Bass: "DARK BLAST!"

Proto Man: "NOOOO!"

Proto Man jumps in front of the attack. Zanbato Man watches as Proto Man falls, his shield already on the floor.

Zanbato Man: "PROTO MAN!"

Treble Bass: "Hmph...looks like Proto Man is down. I'll just take him then."

Bass picks up Proto Man and prepares to depart when Zanbato Man stands with his saber pointed towards Bass.

Zanbato Man: "No...I won't let you take him."

Treble Bass: "Don't make me laugh. A pathetic weakling like you can't do anything. Just be lucky that I'm letting you live. After all, if it wasn't for you, Proto Man wouldn't have fallen so easily."

Bass warps away and Zanbato Man drops his saber on the floor, clearly upset.

Flashback Ends

Zanbato Man: "You see...because of me, Proto Man is gone."

Luna Man: "What???? You hit him???? How in the world could YOU have hit Bass?"

Zanbato Man: "Luna Man zip it."

Luna Man: "What was that?"

Vanish Woman: "Enough. Look Zanbato Man, everything will be fine. Don't worry. I'm sure someone will go to track down Bass. Right now, we need to find a way into the Inner Sector."

Zanbato Man: "Inner Sector?"

Zan'ei Man: "Proto Man told us about it. It's the passageway to the Main Room."

Zanbato Man: "In other words, it's the only way we can get into the Main Room. What do we do once we get there?"

Luna Man: "Well according to Proto Man..."

For what I see, the answer is a shadow.

I choose to stand over it and examine.

I want to decline their challenge and ask them how to get in to the inner sector.

While the riddle does sound like a shadow, the eternal & divine part doesn't, at least not to me. I shall look around for clues.

Wire Man: "Sorry. I'm not interested in gambling. I just want to get to the Inner Sector."

Unknown Robot 1: "If ya really wanna get into da Inner Sector, then you gotta..."

Unknown Robot 2: "Enough. It's no use Positive Man. He must not want to get into the Inner Sector."

Positive Man: "How unfortunate. Looks like ya ain't gon get ya info."

Wire Man: "Can't you just tell me?"

Positive Man: "Not a chance. Negative Man. What we gonna do?"

Negative Man: "Easy. If he doesn't want to gamble, then he doesn't have to. Good luck getting into the Inner Sector."

Positive Man and Negative Man walk to the entrance and you see a door that was hidden behind them.

Wire Man: "A door? I wonder where it leads to..."

- You can open the door and go inside
- You can stare at the door and see if anything happens
- You can run to the other robots and tell them about the door
- You can try and chase after Positive Man and Negative Man
- You can pretend that you didn't see the door and walk away

Vanish Woman walks away and you three decide to look at the riddle again.

Zanbato Man: "You might be right."

Luna Man: "I wonder what Vanish Woman is...doing?"

You look at her staring up at the ceiling. You're trying to figure out why she is staring up at the ceiling.

You can choose to do one of the following:
- You can go towards Vanish Woman and look up at the ceiling too
- You can continue to stare at the riddle
- You can try to solve the riddle
- You can forget the riddle and walk towards Wire Man
- You can forget the riddle and walk to the Mini Shop

You have decided to look around for clues.

Vanish Woman: "If you ask me, it looks like a shadow. But what in the world makes a shadow divine? I'll go ahead and look for clues."

You depart from the rest of the group and look around. You think about the riddle and wonder what it could mean.

Vanish Woman: "Eternal and divine...the only divine being...but how could..."

Suddenly you look up for whatever reason and you see an insignia of a battle. One side looks like darkness, and the other side looks like light.

Vanish Woman: "That's an interesting insignia...darkness versus light...wait..."

You move over a few steps and you look at the insignia again. Except this time the only part of the insignia you see is darkness. You do this several more times and you then realize that you can only see the light of the insignia in one place.

Vanish Woman: "I don't get it...what is with this insignia?"

You can choose to do one of the following:
- You can look up at the insignia and draw a conclusion (please type your conclusion in your post)
- You can tell the other robots about the insignia
- You can ignore the insignia and return to the robots
- You can look for more clues

Note - I accidentally messed up the riddle. I fixed it in this post, so refer to that one from now on.

This insignia is most puzzling. I think I shall tell the others. Maybe we can figure it out together.

I want to tell the others about the door because there is a chance if I go through they would want to battle me.
