If whoever is behind this enjoys chaos, there's no guarantee Elec Man or the one controlling him doesn't have some sort of fire trick up their sleeves to combat wood.... I think running is our best option.

I've been pretty busy and this update will take a while, so I broke off a little bit so I don't leave you hanging for like a week and a half.

Wire Man: "We have to get out of here now."

You both start to run in the only direction you can.

Elec Man: "Running away? How pathetic. I don't think you know who I am..."

Elec Man charges up another electric attack.

Elec Man: "I'll give you some time to run while I'm charging this attack. You better hope you find an exit."

You continue to run away. Suddenly you hear lightning headed your way. You turn around and see a huge wave of electricity headed towards you.

Wire Man can choose to do one of the following:
- You can try to absorb the electricity headed towards you (high risk, high reward)
- You can protect Vanish Woman from the attack
- You can continue to run away
- You can try to find an exit

Vanish Woman can choose to do one of the following:
- You can protect Wire Man from the attack
- You can continue to run away
- You can try to find an exit

A couple of things to note. The electric beam will reach you guys by the next update. The option you choose will be the only option you can do to try and avoid this beam. What you choose to do will also affect how I continue with this update. The second part of the update is rather long, but depending on what happens here, the update will be slightly altered from what I originally wrote (when I deleted it by accident)

Elemental Training Facility Theme

Zanbato Man: "What exactly are you trying to accomplish?"

?????: "We just want the world to know what chaos is like."

Zanbato Man: "You didn't answer my question. What EXACTLY-"

?????: "You bore me. I should just kill you now."

The spider guy suddenly appears in front of you, ready to attack. Suddenly he stops moving, frozen by Ice Man.

Ice Man: "Get away from him now."

You swiftly step back before the ice surrounding the enemy shatters.

?????: "You know where to find me. I'll be waiting for you."

Ice Man: "Wait. We're not done talking."

?????: "Sorry but I don't have much of a choice."

He transforms back into his spider like form and crawls back into the tunnel.

Fire Man: "Ice Man. Take Zanbato Man back to the Inner Sector."

Ice Man: "Yes sir."

Zanbato Man: "No way. Why would I go back there? For all I know, the others could be where that guy is going."

Fire Man: "If they are, that's all the more reason for you not to go there. We're not going to put you in risk of getting..."

Zanbato Man: "Getting what. Beaten?"

Fire Man: "Go upgrade your Lava Wave already."

Ice Man: "Actually...Talmas and Payka just left. They're on break now."

Zanbato Man: "I'm not going to just sit around while they do all the fighting."

Fire Man: "You don't know what you're up against."

Zanbato Man: "Has that stopped me before?"

Fire Man: "Very well. You can come with us. But know this. If anything happens, you return to the Inner Sector immediately. Understand?"

Zanbato Man: "Got it."

Fire Man: "Follow me."

Ice Man: "Are you sure this is a good idea?"

Fire Man: "Only time can tell."

You don't have to do anything for this turn.

Kelgate : Nothing has changed for you yet, so you don't have to respond yet.

megamanmaniac : Well I am wire man. Kind of use to electric going through me. The electric strike is coming fast and I think my only option is to absorb it.

Since I am Wood element & have resistance to electric attacks, maybe I can put up some sort of shield on Wire Man in a similar way that I did the vines on Fire Man.

Sorry this took so long. I was pretty busy for a while, and then got lazy the last few days; as a result this took way longer than it should have. But it's done now, so now we can advance the story.

Wire Man stops running and turns around, holding his hand forward.

Vanish Woman: "What are you doing?"

Wire Man: "Maybe I can absorb it and redirect it."

Vanish Woman: "Are you crazy?"

Vanish Woman puts up a barrier of vines in front of Wire Man.

Vanish Woman: "That should hold off the attack. Let's go."

You both continue to sprint away from Elec Man, seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. Suddenly, you hear vines beings torn apart. You turn and see the electric beam heading right towards you. Wire Man suddenly pushes Vanish Woman down and holds out his arm, taking the full impact of the attack. Vanish Woman stands up.

Vanish Woman: "Wire Man! What are you-"

Wire Man: "Don't...worry. I'm fi-"

Before he could finish his sentence, Wire Man is knocked back to the end of the tunnel, bringing Vanish Woman with him.

Secret District

Elec Man: "You thought a few vines would stop me?"

Sparks start coming off of Wire Man. Vanish Woman drags Elec Man I out of the tunnel into a room. Vanish Woman turns to see Wood Man lying down behind two fuzzy figures. Vanish Woman also notices another robot master lying down.

Vanish Woman: "What the..."

Vanish Woman suddenly falls to the ground.

?????: "Well done Elec Man. Now finish them off."

Elec Man: "Quiet. I want to enjoy this."

Elec Man walks in front of you and charges another electric attack.

Wood Man: "Stop...Elec Man..."

Elec Man turns around.

Wood Man: "Don't do this..."

Elec Man: "Don't interfere. I have no business with you right now."

Wood Man: "Stop!"

Vanish Woman sees a flash of light and falls unconscious.

Inner Sector Theme

You all continue walking down the tunnel.

Ice Man: "Do you still think this is a good idea?"

Fire Man: "I don't think we have a choice."

You reach a hole in the tunnel.

Fire Man: "Alright. This should take us where we need to go."

Ice Man: "Why is this hole here?"

Fire Man: "I'll explain later. Let's go."

You watch Fire Man and Ice Man jump down the hole, and you follow them down.

Fire Man: "These marks along the wall...Elec Man must've been down here."

You look around once you reach the bottom.

Fire Man: "We should hurry. We're almost there."

Zanbato Man: "Almost where?"

Ice Man: "Let's hurry."

Fire Man and Ice Man start running down the hall. You quickly run behind them.

Secret District

The three of you reach a room to see Wire Man, Zanbato Man, and another robot master lying down unconscious. You see Elec Man preparing to finish them off. You also notice three figures standing behind Elec Man.

Ice Man: "Elec Man!"

Elec Man: "Ice Man. You're just in time to see me destroy these two."

You run up to Elec Man and point your saber at him.

Fire Man: "What are you doing?"

Zanbato Man: "What does it look like I'm doing?"

?????: "What a fool."

Elec Man: "I guess you want to die first. Fine then."

Ice Man launches an Ice Slasher at Elec Man, but Elec Man attacks you before he's hit. You drop down to the ground, still conscious.

?????: "Looks like all four are here."

One of the figures tosses Wood Man towards the ground in front of Elec Man.

?????: "That shield of his saved his life. He's a very resilient traitor."

Fire Man walks up to Elec Man.

Fire Man: "That's enough Elec Man."

Fire Man points his flame at Elec Man and shoots a fire ball past his head. A spider in the distance jumps off the wall to dodge.

?????: "I'm surprised you saw me. Looks like we can settle things now."

You look at the spider, recognizing it before falling unconscious quickly after.

Secret District

You wake up and look around. You look around and see the four guardians protecting Vanish Woman, Wire Man, and Zanbato Man.

Fire Man: "They have nothing to do with this."

?????: "Is that so? If I remember correctly, they were the ones who defeated Vine Man. Am I correct about that?"

?????: "We already took care of the other two involved, so all that's left are these three."

?????: "We can't afford to have you interfering with our plans. And these little guys need to learn that the hard way."

Ice Man: "So why infiltrate this place. They were vulnerable to attack after they defeated Vine Man. Why now?"

?????: "I already told Wood Man. I'm sure he can inform you about what I told him. And that robot over there...who looks like he's finally up."

You quickly stand up after picking up your staff.

Wood Man: "Wizard Man...I'm sorry. I couldn't protect you."

Wizard Man: "Who are these three?"

?????: "We never actually introduced ourselves did we?"

?????: "A nobody like you doesn't deserve to know who we are."

Fire Man: "Wizard Man. Get those three out of here now."

Wizard Man: "Understood."

You run towards Wire Man, Vanish Woman, and Zanbato Man.

Elec Man: "You messed with the wrong robot master. I'm going to destroy you."

?????: "You must be the egotistic one. What a pleasure it would be to knock your petty pride down a few notches."

Elec Man: "I dare you to try."

?????: "The 5th ranked robot master here. You can't even beat Fire Man. You really think you can beat any of us?"

Ice Man: "Don't act recklessly Elec Man."

Zanbato Man suddenly regains consciousness.

Zanbato Man: "Who...who are you?"

Fire Man: "He's one of us. Help him get Wire Man and Vanish Woman out of here."

Zanbato Man: "But you guys..."

?????: "Not dead yet, huh. You're certainly a lot more resilient than I thought. Time to end yo-"

Fire Man: "Sorry, but we won't allow you to do that."

?????: "You fight so hard to protect these nobodies. It's pathetic really."

?????: "If you think they're worth saving, then you must believe dying is worth the trouble of making sure they live."

?????: "Fine. Your lives for theirs. We'll kill them eventually."

?????: "Just know this brats. You won't be protected forever. We will find you."

You two (Zanbato Man and Wizard Man) carry Vanish Woman into the vent they entered from and run to the dead end.

Zanbato Man: "Now what?"

Wizard Man: "I see plants lining the walls. We can climb them, but carrying these two will make it almost impossible. This is quite the predicament."

Zanbato Man: "We can try to wake them up."

You both look up again. You notice that the plants are starting to fall off of the walls.

Wizard Man: "As if our situation wasn't bad enough."

Zanbato Man: "We can't escape this way. We need to find another way out."

Wizard Man: "We could try returning to the Secret District."

Zanbato Man: "I'll pass. I'm sure there's another way out of here...like that hole in the ceiling over there."

You approach the hole in the ceiling.

Zanbato Man: "This tunnel probably leads to that tunnel we were in. If we can get up there, then we can get back to the Inner Sector easily."

Wizard Man: "I see. But how do we go about getting back into that tunnel? I see no difference between this and the vent exit over there."

Zanbato Man: "I don't know...but I know that we can't go back."

You both notice vines enveloping Wire Man and Vanish Woman. You both prepare to attack the vines when you become entangled in them, falling unconscious soon after.

Inner Sector Theme

The four of you wake up, soon realizing that you're in the Medic District.

Wire Man: "The Medic Distruct? How did we-"

Wire Man suddenly stops moving. Sparks can be seen flying off of his body.

Roll: "Don't overdo it Wire Man. You absorbed a lot of electricity, and it'll probably take some time for you to properly recover."

You all turn your heads to the door and realize that Roll is standing by the door.

Vanish Woman: "What happened to those intruders?"

Roll: "They're gone don't worry."

Zanbato Man: "We were attached by vines."

Plant Man: "I think the term saved would be more appropriate."

Plant Man walks into the room.

Plant Man: "Those vines are the only reason you're alive. After I recovered the four of you, the tunnel you were in became the location of a big explosion. I guess whatever intense battle was happening down there spread to the tunnel."

Wire Man: "So what happened to Elec Man? Did someone stop him?"

Vanish Woman: "Elec Man was under control of one of three guys who infiltrated the sector."

Roll: "Actually...there were four of them."

Wizard Man: "It was him wasn't it."

Zanbato Man: "Who?"

Wizard Man: "Some would call him the epitome of the latter part of the saying 'brains over brawns.' As far as I'm concerned, he's simply a meathead obsessed with earning one more win. In fact, you know him Wire Man."

Wire Man: "You don't mean..."

Wizard Man: "His name is Armor Man."

Roll: "Turns out he was the mole we've been investigating for a while now. We still don't know why they chose to strike three days ago."

Zanbato Man: "Three days?"

Vanish Woman: "We've been out for three days?"

Plant Man: "Yes. You have."

Zanbato Man: "What happened to the guardians?"

Roll: "They're trying to locate the four who attacked the facility. They'll be unavailable for a while."

Wizard Man: "Those intruders said they wanted me to deliver a message to you."

Plant Man: "We got their message."

Vanish Woman: "What message?"

Roll: "They said that they won't disturb the facility anymore, but to beware of the inevitable chaos coming for them."

Wire Man: "So there shouldn't be any problems."

Wire Man starts to get out of his bed, slowly standing up despite sparks flying off of him.

Plant Man: "You're lucky. Elec Man didn't hold back with his electric attack. Despite Vanish Woman's vine shield protecting you guys a little bit, that voltage would've fried almost anything. That was a very risky move on your part, and you're lucky to have made it out alive."

Vanish Woman: "How do you know what happened down there?"

Plant Man: "Elec Man remembers it all, even though he wishes he didn't."

Wizard Man: "Casual banter aside, what do you need from us?"

Roll: "We don't have any more time to waste. You need to return to the Main Room to take care of another robot master."

Zanbato Man: "Wait. We have to upgrade our abilities."

Roll: "I'm afraid upgrades will have to wait."

Plant Man: "If you need, I'll drag you guys to the Main Room."

Vanish Woman: "That won't be necessary."

You all get up and make your way to the door.

Roll: "Follow me."

Main Room Theme

After a few minutes of walking, you reach the Main Room.

Dr. Light: "Welcome back. I hope you guys are doing well."

Zanbato Man: "We're fine. I'm sure we have to head out now right?"

Dr. Light: "I guess that saves me the trouble of explaining why I called you here."

Wire Man: "So where to next?"

A giant screen behind Dr. Light appears, showing the robot masters. You notice that the box displaying Vine Man is grayed out.

Dr. Light: "Vine Man is defeated, so only seven remain."

Stage Select Theme

You can choose to do one of the following:
- You can go to the Recycling Plant to find Cycle Man
- You can go to the Night District to find Night Man
- You can go to the Magma Cave to find Meteor Man
- You can go to the Sky Base to find Breeze Man
- You can go to the Greenhouse Extravaganza to find Vine Man
- You can go to the Power Plant to find Volt Man
- You can go to the Seaside Bay to find Ocean Man
- You can go to the Countryside Range to find Vulcan Man

I want to go fight water man. He seems like he would be weak to electric.

Breeze Man might be best since we already beat Vine Man & 'should' have his power since Breeze Man is weak to wood. 

Might be best to wait on Ocean Man. He appears to be weak to darkness, which most likely comes from Night Man. Night Man is weak to light, which, if my guess is correct, comes from Volt Man. Volt Man is weak to guns a la Vulcan Man... Vulcan Man doesn't like Cycle Man, Cycle Man isn't fond of Breeze Man.... as for Meteor Man, we'd need Ocean Man's power.....

These are my thoughts anyway. Any other input would be appreciated.

I'm good with either Breeze man or Water Man.

might as well take on ocean man, gotta get the weaknesses out of the way first.

Main Room Theme

Dr. Light: "Very well then. Ocean Man it is. Be careful however. Ocean Man has a significant advantage since he has access to water at any time."

Wizard Man: "So how do we confront him. He is located underwater isn't he?"

Dr. Light: "While it's true that his base is located underwater, there is an entrance from the bay. You'll have to enter from the entrance in order to reach Ocean Man."

Zanbato Man: "So we just have to go through a door?"

Roll: "Unfortunately it's not that simple. There are a couple of other robot masters to be wary of."

Wire Man: "What?"

Plant Man: "Bubble Man and Dive Man both work at the Seaside Bay, so they both are aligned with Ocean Man."

Dr. Light: "They don't know what Ocean Man's intentions are, but from what we've learned he's developing a super weapon underwater in order to rule the oceans with Bubble Man and Dive Man alongside him. We need you four to stop this project and defeat Ocean Man."

Vanish Woman: "Where is the entrance to the base?"

Dr. Light: "Unfortunately we don't know yet. A scooter we sent did send us a message saying 'DEAL' but we haven't figured out what he meant."

Wizard Man: "It could be a puzzle we need to solve in order to gain access to the base."

Roll: "That could be it. Anywho, please step on the platform please."

You all step on the platform and prepare to warp."

Plant Man: "One last thing. Wire Man. Be careful. You still have quite a few volts inside of you from absorbing Elec Man's attack. We don't know what will happen should you lose control of all that energy."

You all are warped out of the Main Room.

Seaside Bay Theme

The four of you land on top of a small cliff. You all look around to see a peaceful bay.

Zanbato Man: "Why does everything look so peaceful?"

Wire Man: "It's like a beach. What do you expect?"

Wizard Man: "This setting is perfect for hiding a secret base. Minimal negative attention is the best case scenario for Ocean Man."

You all look around for a way to enter the base.

Vanish Woman: "We should start by looking around. I don't think staying on this cliff will help."

You all take a trail down the cliff and reach the sand. You see towels and balls lying everywhere, and a lot of people relaxing by the food court. You all also notice a dock with a boat sitting idly at the shoreline

Zanbato Man: "There's a boat. Maybe the entrance is in the water."

Wizard Man: "Even if it is, there's no way we can get into the water. We should ask the people over there if they've noticed anything odd."

Wire Man: "I think that it'd be best to look for clues as well."

You can choose to do one of the following:
- You can go to the dock to investigate the boat
- You can go to the food court to ask people questions
- You can look around the beach for clues (specify)
- You can stand there and wait for something to happen

megamanmaniac : We might as well inspect the boat to see if it can get us to their base.

I'll look around the beach near the boat for any clues. Considering what happened with Vine Man, I don't want to stray too far from everyone yet I want to make sure there aren't any booby traps. I'm also wondering why Dr. Light didn't say anything about us getting a power from Vine Man unless we don't have the same 'power absorbing" ability Mega Man does....

Sorry about that! >.<. Been preparing for my trip to Philly and forgot I checked this earlier and never replied. I'll search the beach now as the mention of clues intrigues me, potentially looking for prints that might lead towards a tunnel, or secret entrance might be on the very beach itself. Its not unlikely that Ocean Man could be under the sea, maybe a underwater bridge or something that use to start at the beach or something.

I will go to the dock with the boat.

I want to apologize in advance for how long these updates have been taking. I've been pretty busy over the past couple of weeks and since that probably won't change anytime soon, I can't post updates as often as I used to. As a result, I will be a bit inconsistent with updates. However, to makeup for this, I'm going to have to shorten the original plot that I had in mind, since it'll be impossible to finish it any time soon at the current rate I'm updating. To put it simply, the storyline will progress at a quicker rate than I originally intended. This will generally mean less battles before reaching mini bosses and bosses, as well as less time spent on stages, but it's one that has to be done in order to prevent dragging this RP out even more and taking forever to progress the story.

One more thing. If I'm taking too long to update, please summon me to the thread or post on my profile reminding me to update. I might not respond immediately, but reminding me if I forget to update will help me post updates faster and will hopefully keep me from not updating for a month at a time.

Now that that's out of the way, let's move things along.

You both decide to go to the dock.

Wire Man: "We'll go check the dock for anything that can help us get to the base."

Vanish Woman: "Alright. I'll go look around the beach for clues."

Wizard Man: "I'll do the same. This'll be our rendezvous point. We'll all meet back here soon."

Vanish Woman: "Alright. Let's go."

You two walk towards the Dock hoping to find any clues leading to the base.

Zanbato Man: "I don't see anything."

Wire Man: "We should go explore the waters a bit. Maybe we can find something out there."

Zanbato Man: "And how do you suggest we do that?"

Wire Man: "I'm sure we can figure it out."

A couple of minutes pass by and you start the boat.

Wire Man: "Alright. We got it started."

Zanbato Man: "Only one way to go from here, right?"

You both leave the dock on the boat to look around for clues. After about twenty minutes of looking around, you stop the boat.

Wire Man: "I don't see anything."

Zanbato Man: "There's just too much water."

Wire Man: "I think we should head back and let the others know we haven't found anything."

????: "I'm afraid I can't let you leave."

Mini Boss Encounter Theme

You both turn around and see a robot master emerge from the water behind you.

Zanbato Man: "Who are you?"

Dive Man: "The name is Dive Man."

Wire Man: "If you're here, then we must get close."

Zanbato Man: "We should go tell the others."

Dive Man: "I cannot let you return. You will be buried here under the sea, forever forgotten."

You can choose to do one of the following:
- You can attack Dive Man
- You can question Dive Man (specify what questions you want to ask)
- You can try to escape from Dive Man and return to the dock
- You can continue to look for clues

Wizard Man: "I think we should split up. It'll help up cover more ground in less time."

Vanish Woman: "Sounds like a good idea."

You both look around the beach for a few minutes, asking questions to people see, before meeting each other near another dock.

Vanish Woman: "I asked around and no one gave me any useful information."

Wizard Man: "I got one thing from the food store manager. He says that the two docks are positioned oddly. I don't know what that means exactly, but he's never seen two docks positioned in such a way before."

Vanish Woman: "Well we should look at both docks and see what he sees."

You both look at the dock by the cliff.

Wizard Man: "Let's go there and see if we can find anything there."

You walk towards the dock and see that there's no boat there.

Vanish Woman: "I don't see a difference between this dock and the other...nothing obvious enough to be of help at least."

Wizard Man: "We should go back then."

?????: "You won't escape."

Mini Boss Encounter Theme

You see bubbles rising from the ocean. A robot master emerges from the water, enclosed in a bubble.

Wizard Man: "Bubble Man."

Vanish Woman: "I guess there's something around here after all."

Bubble Man: "More intruders to take care of blublub."

You can choose to do one of the following:
- You can attack Bubble Man
- You can question Bubble Man (specify what questions you want to ask)
- You can try to escape from Bubble Man
- You can continue to look for clues

"Dive man, you better pick where you wanna land, cuz I ain't gonna be buried under 20,000 leagues without a fight!" However I will ask him why does he care about what we're doing, then if we DO engage in battle, imma say what i just said above.

I just had a thought about what the food store manager said. The docks may be positioned differently but maybe they both point to the same spot somehow.

Wizard Man, do you think we'll get more information by talking with Bubble Man? It doesn't look like he really wants to talk but I could be wrong.
