In racing games do you prefer realistic or easy drives?

I prefer easy drives in racing games when I'm playing with other people but realistic when I'm alone. Of course, it's difficult to choose realistic for the first few times I play them, since I'm always left in the dust! =P

I picked easy because I used to play that when I played with other people but I like playing realistic when I am by myself. It was always easy for me both choices I had a bit of trouble at first with realistic but it got better.

I guess I would like the easy kind. I wouldn't call some of them easy but they are not realistic at all. If I wanted to do realistic driving I would get in my car and go somewhere. Everything don't have to make since or be real world accurate for me in a racing game.

I like easy more. Realistic is just too hard for me. I like to crash people and have fun. Not drive along like im on a highway following the laws.

I hate most easy driving games. There are exceptions like Mario Kart and Crazy Taxi but otherwise it ruins the games. I dont like it when the cars turn without having to break or brake much. You dont have to take a racing line and so on.

Saints Row is one of the biggest offenders of this, the gears changes never end and turning is simple. While Saints Row isn't a racing series, driving cars is a big part of it.

There are many other examples I can rant about but the only other big offender is Need for Speed, but there are some realistic elements they have kept. Again it's the cars turning to quickly and being too responsive. Even with traction control off it is easy.

This is why I prefer games like Gran Turismo and Forza. They test you driving skill and in my opinion it's fun.

I like realistic games, because it requires the focus that real racing has. And it adds a whole level of challenge to it, which can lengthen play time as well as heighten the replay value.
