I had my cabin broken into once. It's pretty remote so I like to picture them as backwood drunkard teenagers, but anyway...It looked like they pried the door open with a crowbar. We don't keep anything real expensive there, so all they took were a bunch of DVDs (which were costly to |

juuldude : Of course I've been robbed before. Someone stole my house key then went in the house. A xBox 360, 2 laptops, money, and other stuff were completely stolen. So now I'm always careful. The robbers weren't found after an entire year. |

juuldude : I think one TV was left behind, but I could be wrong. I just can't remember. My Aunt is doing fine now, thank you for asking. Sorry to hear about what happened to your Grandma, but glad to hear she got her bag back. Yeah, unfortunately most of these criminals get away with it. |

Last year when my Laptop was stolen out of my apartment. I had years of Web Graphic Design work on it. Plus the work I was currently doing on it. I ended up loosing my job because I couldn't do the work anymore. Also lost my game footage for my youtube channel and lots of other video project I was very proud of. |

From locker rooms I've had text books, a wallet, a nice swimming t-shirt, and gym shorts stolen. I never use locker rooms now and always keep my stuff within watching distance. The only problem about locker rooms is that they can't have security cameras. It's also easy for many locker locks to be picked open using a cut-out of a credit card |

One thing I someone had stolen from me were 30 dollars that I had brought to school to pay for my supplies. I felt someone touching my backpack, but decided to ignore it. A few minutes later I had realized that it was all stolen, and never found out who it was! |

I had 10 dollars take from me in school for lunch to pay off for my account, I leave the locker rooms and come back after gym is over, and guess what? It is gone!. Thankfully it is only a little but though and not like 50 dollars. This was last year though. I don't bring any electronics to school other than my phone because I know the way kids are and they will just steal stuff, headphones, earphones, ipods, you name it, they will probably take it. I am cautious about this stuff so that is why I don't bring anything of too high value that I am not prepared to loose. I am just cautious about these things.... |

Recently, actually. It was only some sweets, but I left a packet of Haribos on my desk by accident when I left school. I came back about 3 minutes later before I walked home (because I realised my Haribos weren't in my bag) and they weren't there. I asked my teacher if she'd picked them up, but she said another kid had taken them saying they were his. The teacher told me who, and I told my friends but they kind of overreacted and beat him up. : |

When I was in high school I had my disk man and all my CD's stolen from my locker that both me and the person I shared my locker with walked away from it at the same time not realizing that neither one of us closed and locked it. A few years ago the house I was living in was broken into but the only thing of mine that was stolen was my PS3 and a few blu-rays. I was really mad about my PS3 though because it was the gen that you could play PS2 games on. But very little memory on it so I may as well just have a 500G PS3 and a PS2. I still love my old games. |

When I first started going to college my dad said don't take your pocketbook but take a wallet instead. So I took his advice and put all my stuff in my wallet. Bank Card Student ID Cash Flash Drive License First day it gets stolen on the bus! I had to rush to the main office at the college and make all phone calls to make sure my identity wasn't stolen.... Now I take my pocket book which I keep close to me so nothing gets stolen! Pocketbooks are much better than wallets! So I took his advice and put all my stuff in my wallet. So, here will be my super duper long reply and I'll reply to everyone!!! It's going to be a long pill, so take your time to look through the whole reply, because it's so darn big rcarter2 : Oh, that sounds good for the kids. It's good to hear that the kids didn't have to pay back anything themselves, and it would be unreasonable to charge them for money. It's still sad you had to pay back the money yourself. Blubcreator : It depends on your classmates and other people if they would steal something like that. Where I live, it's very common to put your phone in your pants, even when you have gym class, which is pretty risky now I think about it. Was it very cold when you had to walk without your coat? supernerd117 : You will Sue him? Haha, that's a great joke, LOL Anyways, it's of course pretty suspicious to ask around if somebody has taken a bag full of gameboys. But if you've got the time, you could ask your mother why she didn't ask anyone. pokemonfangirl : That's pretty strange... (dang, she knows why I'm here! ) I hope you'll get another phone soon. One of the girls that was robbed at the taekwondo training has a new phone now already.? zanderlex : Ugh, that sucks. Do you live in a dangerous quarter then? And did you get any of that stuff back? Or are you just a common victim?? OracleofthePenguin : I think they took some alcohol first, and then they got too drunk so they only stealed some DVDs and that wii from your neighbours. I'm wondering myself if thieves don't feel guilty, but most of them are so poor that they probably don't care, which is somewhat poor for them too Black Bot : Really? It's terrible to hear they used your own keys because then you think you wasn't careful enough and that it's stupid from you. And I don't know if I understood it correctly, but do you mean you didn't find the robbers even after an entire year, or that they were found after an entire year? DenzGamer135 : I already thought as well, but I thought that maybe you meant it was once your friend or something like that, but it wasn't Fishergirl7 : Okay, I'm happy to hear your aunt is okay. My grandma isn't so old yet, so she was lucky that she could get her bag back. In fact this story is pretty funny right now because we make a few jokes about my grandma running after the thief and the thief getting afraid of her because he/she thinks she might be crazy to run after him. And thieves are always so fast that most can't be catched which isn't unfortunate indeed ? RudraStrife : Really? Losing your job and important videos and youtube material might be even a bit worse then just getting stolen from lots of stuff. I hope that you have a cool new job now EideticMemory : True, when I was in a swimming pool once I hang my towel somewhere and someone took it. I didn't get why, but my mom told that maybe that person was confused or something like that. It wouldn't be a bad idea to have cameras in lockers by the way awesomeguy279: Really? How did they lose the money? And who stole your Pok?mon emerald then? It's weird to imagine what kind of things people steal nowadays... FrozenSoul57 : Ah man, that sucks. Anyways, now you know what to do when someone touches your backpack: 'Hey, get yer filthy claws of me backpack, you creeper!' Haha, well I wouldn't say that, but it would be funny if you would say that Razor-987 : Hmhm, it's good you're cautious, you never know what people can do. Luckily it wasn't a lot of money. I guess I'm lucky my school is pretty safe Juliet : Oh wait, I got it wrong :x I meant the classmate that stole the phone. I said 'betray' because you said you went to your teacher with your friend and told about what happened, so in fact you 'betrayed' the stealing classmate, or do I get it wrong? tRIUNE : It's so frustrating when there isn't evidence to prove anything! Where did you move out to? Pikachi: Ai... That's kind of overreacting, even for a bag of Haribos My grandma told me lately that a kid in her street who is in another third class just like me had some kind of accident in his class too. Some kids blowed and when someone went to the mentor about it he/she said that there was told by the person who told him that that some kids blowed. Then a few kids got mad at him/her (the kid who told it to the teacher) and now he/she is afraid to go to school ximex : That's so stupid, people always steal pencils like that and lose them later on and then they are never found back. It's something that shouldn't be done. katie.rae : Oh... that's pretty bad, but it happens sometimes Did you get another PlayStation after that happened? Or did you already have another PlayStation before that happened? It's pretty stupid when you make a lot of progress in a game and then your PlayStation is stolen... LCRain : OMG! All your important stuff stolen! That's literally the worst thing that CAN happen I think! Did you get your identity back? When I take something with me I do it in my jacket bags (which are closed with zippers) and I also have a bag in the inside from my jacket which is safer. I hope your pocketbooks are safer for you and that you will not be stolen again, and that your dad never asks you to take a wallet with you Wow, this was certainly the longest post I ever made. It has at least a 1000 words, which is very big! In fact, it might be large enough to earn a jersey (I hope so, it would be my first) and I hope that all of you will respond to this post of course, because then I can respond back! Anyways, thanks for all the posts, this thread is maybe my best thread.? rcarter2 : Oh, that sounds good for the kids. RudraStrife : Really? juuldude : I was able to take care of things within 2 days and nothing bad happened from it. I was so scared and angry at the same time. But thankfully I was smart enough to make all the calls needed and so I stopped anything from happening. Now I am super secure in what I carry and how I carry it.
