Heading into week 14, the Seattle Seahawks have clinched a playoff berth, with teams such as the Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, New Orleans Saints, and New England Patriots fairly close to clinching playoff berths.

Who do you think will make the playoffs?

Who will make it to the Super Bowl?

Who will win the Super Bowl?

Just a few questions to think about.

I think that the postseason will look like this.

AFC
1 Denver Broncos
2 New England Patriots

3 Cincinatti Bengals vs. 6 Baltimore Ravens
4 Indianapolis Colts vs. 5 Kansas City Chiefs

NFC
1 Seattle Seahawks
2 New Orleans Saints

3 Detroit Lions vs. 6 San Fransisco 49ers
4 Dallas Cowboys vs. 5 Carolina Panthers

Ok so I might as well post the results for the postseason here for everyone to see, so here I go.

NFC Wild Card Matchups
New Orleans Saints 26
Philadelphia Eagles 24

San Francisco 49ers 23
Green Bay Packers 20

NFC Divisional Matchups
New Orleans Saints 15
Seattle Seahawks 23

NFC Championship Game
San Francisco 49ers 17
Seattle Seahawks 23

AFC Wild Card Matchups
Kansas City Chiefs 44
Indianapolis Colts 45

San Diego Chargers 27
Cincinatti Bengals 10

AFC Divisional Matchups
Indianapolis Colts 22
New England Patriots 43

San Diego Chargers 17
Denver Broncos 24

AFC Championship Game
New England Patriots 16
Denver Broncos 26

Super Bowl
Denver Broncos 8
Seattle Seahawks 43

SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS: SEATTLE SEAHAWKS!!!!

You know, it might be a little early to post this, but I'm going to just leave it open but I'm not really going to sticky this for about a week or two (unless Patar stickys it before I do).

Based on what you said, don't be too sure on what's going to happen although 3/4 of the playoffs have been figured out, they're still a couple spots remaining though.
Although the 4 teams you mentioned that has clinched the 1st week bye sounds about all right, but as for the wildcard games, it's hard telling.

I can agree to most of your predictions, but 2 things I can think different about the standings. I believe Dolphins might beat out the Ravens for the #6 spot, along with the Panthers winning the NFC South. I think they can pull it off. So, it might look like this. (correct me if I screw up anything)

AFC
1 Denver Broncos
2 New England Patriots

3 Cincinatti Bengals vs. 6 Miami Dolphins
4 Indianapolis Colts vs. 5 Kansas City Chiefs

NFC
1 Seattle Seahawks
2 Carolina Panthers

3 Detroit Lions vs. 6 San Fransisco 49ers
4 Dallas Cowboys vs. 5 New Orleans Saints

You know what, since a lot of users might make multiple threads about "NFL playoff predictions", I'll just say screw it and I'll go ahead and sticky this.

pacman1755 : I got to agree with you on the NFC side, because the New Orleans Saints plays against the Carolina Panthers twice in 3 weeks (tomorrow and December 22nd) and if the Saints lose to the Panthers twice in 3 weeks, that'll put them into the first week bye spot.

There's still 4 more weeks left in the season. Little early to be jumping the gun. I'm closing this To be re-opened when the playoff teams are all clinched.

Ok, now the final game of the season is over with and we are in the postseason right now so I went ahead and re-opened this thread. Well, this is how the playoffs for 2013/14 will play out:

AFC
Bye week: Denver and New England

Cincinnati vs. San Diego
Indianapolis vs. Kansas City

NFC
Bye Week: Seattle and Carolina

Philadelphia vs. New Orleans
San Francisco vs. Green Bay

To my mind, I think that is a pretty good playoff picture, it sucks that Pittsburgh ain't in it this yeah, but hey, there is always next year though

I still can't believe the Lions totally fell apart. They also ended up getting their coach fired because of that.

Well only one of my teams got in the playoffs and that is the Bengals. The Ravens bumbled and the Browns were just awful this year. I hope the Bengals make it to the Super Bowl. I would love to see the Bengals vs the Packers or the Bengals vs the Sea Hawks.

You have to figure this:

AFC-
(6) Chargers- For the Chargers to go far here, they need to win a tough, defensive game against Cincinnati in Cincinnati. A task that the Chargers may not be able to pull. Playing against the 5th best D in the NFL and the 8th best Passing game in the NFL, they need to stop the passing game, otherwise they will lose!!! I don't see them going into the divisional game and if they do manage to pull that off, they will not beat the Broncos.

(5) Chiefs- Considering that they have to play against a Colts team that already beat them two weeks earlier (which I might add quite convincingly), they have to keep the offense from getting off the ground. And with what would being said, I don't think they can do it considering they have to stop train in the Colts.

(4) Colts- The Colts might be the Broncos Kyptonite if they can take care of business at home against Chiefs. But then again, Luck needs to outgun Peyton and that's is something that ONLY ONE QUARTERBACK has done consistently... Also, they'll play at Mile High and that's never an easy one to win at.

(3) Bengals- Considering that they can rid the Chargers at home, they will have a date with the Patriots at Foxbrough and that's going to be an interesting game. With the Pats questionable defense as well and a loss earlier in the season to them, the Bengals might be the team to beat in the AFC. This may be their year to see the big dance.

(2) Patriots- Considering that the Bengals win, the Pats will need to play extra hard on defense if they have a chance to stop the Bengal at home. Also, unless divine intervention happens at Mile High, they will have a one way ticket to OUSTLAND. They lost at home against them in OT and Mile High is hard to play over the winter...

(1) Broncos- Unless the divines hate them royally, I don't see them not making the Big Dance and facing against the NFC Champs (AKA Hawks!!!) at Jersey! But no matter the outcome, the Broncos are going to step up on D because the NFC don't f*** around when it comes to TO's!!!

NFC-

(6) Saints- Unless they're facing a running team, the Saints are going to be tough to take as they can stop the air game. Philly is all about making it fly and if that's the case, I don't believe that the Saints will have too many issues until that fateful encounter with the Seahawks. Either way, I don't see them being strong enough to be elite this year.

(5) 49ers- If there's one team I rather not face, it's these guys! They have a stellar defense and nasty enough run game. Now, if their passing game can some together, then we have ourselves a threat for the Seahawks... Wait, we do!!!! They split the regular season matchup.

(4) Packers- The Packers have an offense and that SHOULD be enough to win. But in the NFC, you'll need a defense to win games and I don't think the Packers can win without such a defense. They have two options, STOP the 49ers or GO HOME IN GB! There isn't anything else to say. Provided they win, they have to go on the road against either the Seahawks or the Panthers and that's a fight I rather not have either way!

(3) Eagles- With the best running team in the NFL, the Eagles are going to need to stop the air game to stand a chance against the rest of the NFC. Luckily, they get their first chance this week against the Saints, who is notorious for tossing the pigskin with Drew Brees.

(2) Panthers- They may not have the offense to be elite, but it will be their defense that will win them games and they will be a contender against the Seahawks for this year, at least. But for them to make the Big Game, I SMELL CINDERELLA STORYBOOK TIME... Their game will end at the NFC championship game.

(1) Seahawks- With the most dangerous team resting a week, you better believe that unless they don't show up at all, the Seahawks are the favorite to win it all and it will be a surreal thing for them. Against, if the Illuminati is going to show up, they better do it quick.

Predictions for SB

Seahawks Vs Broncos or Bengals.

Mind you, this is what you have to expect. Ready for the Postseason now?

I went to my first football game last month. It was the Giants versus the Seahawks, and I was shocked by the amount of damage the seahawks can do. I will be surprised if they don't go all the way and win everything.

Very interesting on who will win and the Super Bowl predictions. I am not satisfied that the Packers beat the Bears into the playoffs because of a touchdown.. D: I really wanted the Bears to win though. I think it's the Seahawks against the Broncos for the Super Bowl and I think the SeaHawks would win. :3

Black Bot :   You have to look at the QB match ups for that. The Broncos will NOT make it too the super bowl. why? Because of Payton Manning. I think that he may be the worst QB in the playoffs in NFL history. Just putting that out there.

Barathemos : There couldn't be a more false statement. Right now, Manning is coming off of the best season of his career with a beastly receiving core in Decker and Thomas and Welker. He may not have done well in the playoffs in the past, but considering how strong their passing/receiving game is this year, to say that Manning is the reason that they won't make it to the Super Bowl is both rash and crazy. Manning is more than likely the reason that the Broncos WILL make it to the postseason, and to say that he is a terrible QB is completely wrong.

On the flip side, look at their potential opponents. The could end up playing the Colts, Chargers, or Chiefs, and all of those teams are teams that Manning would love to beat. He'd play competitively against the Chiefs and Chargers because they are in the same division. He's also play competitively against his former team the colts. That's not to say that he wouldn't against any other team, but these opponents are ones that he would play even harder against.

megamanmaniac :   Well, I do see your point, and I kind of agree now, but I realy don't know about him against good D's like the cheifs. if the cheifs have to play them, the broncos couldn't win.

megamanmanic: Yeah, I get that, but I don't know why. The Cheifs didn't play like themselves in those last couple of games. But in the play offs, I think they can really get it done.
