Feeling a great power inside of me. "The power knows what to do, I am just merely it's puppet." Jamie shouts "Globus Animus Arma !" Suddenly 9 bursts of light push out of my staff's orb heading to my teammates, reaching them it creates a nearly invisible pixelated circular shield around them. "You're all safe now ! Go forth ! Electricus !" Aiming my staff near the bottom of the creatures where their legs ought to be. A creature of darkness groans as it falls to the ground, a hideous cry of terror that I have to cover my ears. Aiming my staff at another creature, where it's heart should be "Purgo !" a blast of light launches out of my staff at the creature, the creature turns a blinding yellow/white light . and fades into disippating yellow/white orbs that floated into the sky.

Quhark never wanted to be trouble for anyone. He remembers wha Ms. Diela said: "You might get magic powers from the merge with the dark magic entity. His eyes turned purple so he decides to try out his new abilities.

With enough concentration he suceeds to reveal his magic ability, the light beding.

This makes him able to see everything in range of 3 meters, make a short range laser beam(using the collar's diamond of course), and bend light around him so he turns completely invisible and can make others invisble too.

Alex watched the others fight. "Darkness...Shorukezibi...why didn't you tell anyone you created 11 Sword Techniques?"

Alex remembered what his father told him when they were in his mansion.

-Flashback Begins-

"The truth, son, is that Shorukezibi created eleven Sword Techniques. The eleventh Technique, according to Shorukezibi, is a powerful light attack that can conquer any opponent and can be used infinitely. It is was more powerful than the tenth technique and does no damage to the sword wielder. But only the Destined One can learn it, as Shorukezibi already predetermined who will learn it. For your journey...I hope that the predetermined sword wielder is you..."

-Flashback Ends-

"Why...why can't it be me who learns the eleventh sword technique...without it I can't beat these guys..."

Suddenly a demon swung at Alex. Alex blocked the attack and swung at it, temporarily knocking it back. "Whatever. Not having a light ability won't stop these guys from feeling my wrath. They will not rest until they die, and neither will I."

Alex pointed his sword towards the demon who was headed straight for him. "I will fight each and every one of these guys until I die, and I won't go down without a fight."

I was never one who favoured the light .. * Draws sword and slices a dark being in half , it shrieking as it fades away .The He pulls his axfrom his back and and hurls it towards the gut of another dark beasty which impales it but is still stuck inside it . Meanwhile Behind it a dark being is trying to pull the ax out .. he then runs towards it and plunges his blade in the one at the front .. and through the one at the back .. shishkabob style ... He then retrieves his ax which he uses to strike and destroy the two dark beings * ... But it DOES have its perks :3

Jabbin, Sael, Luna, Jamie, Cross, Juilen, Alex, and Ethan

As Sael finishes off the final dark being with a light infused magic arrow, the inky black rain stops, and the dark skies turn back to the dimly lit dusk skies that they were before. Having those creatures gone, Jamie feels lighter than he has since they first arrived in this realm.

"One of those things referred to a 'Master Mardono' at the start of the battle" Quhark tells the others, as they set up camp for the night. "It said that he told them that we couldn't hurt them. I wonder who he is, and why he deceived them like that. Such cruelty to ones own servants..."

"Mardono?" Sael asks, then looks down at the grass that springs up all around her sandals. The green blades contrasted with her white shoes in the twilight, was pretty she thought. "He probably didn't lie to them on purpose. Jamie said those things were chasing you before the light transformation, so I suspect Mardono will be a little surprised himself when we show up instead of his minions."

"Wait, we're going to see him?" Juilen asks.

"Yes, we are." Sael answers confidently. "We must. It's clear that the beast we defeated was not the source of the evil plaguing the land. It was merely a creation of Mardono's. He must be the one behind all of the madness. I cannot believe he is yet alive. I was certain that he had been slain."

"Who is he exactly?" Jabbin asks, as he eats his bedtime snack, which was some creature that he had caught that resembled a rabbit.

"He is the darkest of the dark lords. He is the most dreaded of all men, women, and beasts in the realm. He has such control over darkness, that many call him a demon king." Sael says, as she looks up to the sky. "They say he has been living by darkness for so long, that it has literally become a part of him. We must slay him if we wish to truly save the land and complete our quest."

"Then I suggest we head that way, come morning." Luna says, as she and the others bunk down for the night.



Come morning, as the group prepares to set out on their journey, Jamie notices that he feels a dark power coming from the West. At his suggestion, they follow his sense, and by noon, a mountain comes into view. The top of the mountain is shrouded in a thick darkness.

"This must be where he is." Jamie says. "His powers call out to the beings he sent forth after us. That is what I've been sensing."

"Well I say weh go an' pay our friend a visit." Cross adds almost joyously.

"Aye. All of our journey and the struggle...it all comes down to this." Jabbin says in agreement. "We would do well to tarry not, but attack now."

"Agreed." Says Jamie. "But first, Alex please, hold out your blade. You need this." He says, as he sends forth a floating light orb which is absorbed by Alex' blade, which then emits a glow that covers his whole being. In a moment, he is clothed in white, with a strange but strong armor, and holding a glowing blade.

"Is this the light spoken of by our people?" Alex wonders aloud. "Could I truly be the chosen wielder?"

As Alex ponders these questions, the group resumes their journey up the mountain. When they reach the top, they see a castle, with large wooden doors.

"The front door unguarded?" Luna says. "Either this guy is trying to trick us, or he is overly confident."

"It certainly is not safe, but it's our only option." Jabbin says.

"Hold on" Jamie says, as he focuses his power, and manages to open the door from a distance.

To everyone's surprise, no traps are sprang, and no one seems to be present. Cuatiously, they enter, unsure what awaits them.


Toot

After expertly disposing of the beasts, Toot and friends set up a camp so they may rest up before heading up the mountain.

"Toot" Cilia says "You certainly seemed to know what you were doing with those...things that attacked us."

"Yeah well, just say that I have some experience with them, and leave it at that." Toot answers, still feeling a pang of guilt over leaving his friends.

And with that, they go to bed for the night.


Come morning, the group gathers their things and heads for the mountain top. Once there, they see a large castle.

"This must be Mardono's dwelling" Eridon says, stating the obvious.

"Ya think?" Cilia says mockingly, but Eirdon seems not to notice.

"One would think that such a despised man would be a little less obvious about where he sleeps" Toot says, speaking from experience with guards. "And look! A door that seems entirely unguarded!"

"Surely it must be a trap..." Eridon says cautiously.

"Aye, but what other choice have we?" Toot says. As the unwanted but necessary words leave his mouth, the others nod in agreement. "I have a bad, bad feeling about this." After gathering his courage, he says "Let's go get ourselves a demon king."

Toot eases the door open slowly, as Cilia stands back, her bow raised, prepared to shoot the first thing that moves, and Eridon stands to the side of the door with his blade raised.

Cross walks in a confident but somewhat cautious fashion , eyes keen to everything that moves or doesn't move ... sword even keener as every inch of his body is filled with the urge to counter anything that may attack .. or looks like it will reflexes are put in a fitz of chaotic order as not a twitch leaves his being but his nerves are jumpier than ever .... this was what his Family called " Prioliminary Steal " ... charging ur body to the full extent of attack while not showing that you are ready for it .... it was used before an important fight one on one where an opponent would take the user's not being attentive as a weakness and attack him or her with the up most confidence that he or she was going to get a direct hit and then before the opponent even comes close to laying a finger , claw , sword or whatever on the user ... they'd be hit with a burst of strength and vigor that could be impossible for a 400 pound man to withstand .. or be concious after .... only those skilled in the art of stealth and passive energy could master this .   The user is soundless and NEVER makes a sound while moving as to keep his or her concentration to the MAX . ...... .. In this state .... a man could pull the trigger of a gun five feet away and be knocked out before the shot is even heard .... he would have been long knocked out by then .

Jabbin, Sael, Luna, Jamie, Cross, Juilen...oh, everyone!(reunited, and it feels so good!)

As Cross looks around, he sees nothing...nothing...nothing...three armed people...!

"Toot?" Jamie says, as his gaze falls upon the three coming in from the opposite end of the building. Thankfully for Toot, Eridor, and Cilia, they are a good fifty feet away, otherwise Cross would have instinctively slain them.

"Don't sneak up on people like that!" Cross says, halfway serious. "And who exactly are these people, Jamie?"

"Toot was with us back before you met up with us," Jamie begins, "but I haven't a clue who these people with him are."

"This is Eriodor and Cilia." Toot explains. "We have come to face Mardono."

"Same as we, obviously." Jamie says. "However, you cannot defeat him as you are. You need the light."

"Okay, who is this guy, and what is he talking about?" Cilia asks plainly.

"These people...well, some of them, came here to save the Princess Sael, but as you can see, their quest has become far more treacherous than they had anticipated. Explains Toot. "As for what he's talking about...I'm not really sure, but you can trust him."

"Come here, and I will show you." Jamie offers. As they approach, Jamie instructs them to hold out their weapons, and as they do so, Jamie stretches forth his staff. Again, the familiar light orb comes forth, and infuses them and their weapons with light. As they look down at their transfigured garments and weapons and marvel, a foul beast of the darkness creeps up behind them. Thankfully, Cross spies the creature, and manages to slash it as it leaps for Toot. His sudden attack frightens the already confused Cilia, and she fires an arrow at Cross, who dodges, causing the arrow to stick in the wall directly behind him.

"Stay your weapon, Cilia." Toot instructs the nervous girl, as he reaches his hand out, and pushes her bow down gently. For some reason, Cilia feels comfortable with Toot, and so doesn't second guess his judgement.

"Well ya nearly took mah head off with that arrow, lass!" Cross exclaims. Before Cilia can apologize, he adds "An impressive shot ya are!"

"Thanks?" Comes Cilia's reply.

"Alright, enough talk" Jabbin says "We need to head upstairs. Clearly this floor is empty."

As the group climbs flight after flight of stairs, with each floor empty, they soon begin to wonder if the whole thing is a setup. Finally, as they reach the tenth floor, they see a large figure standing in the center of the main room.

"It's Mardono" Sael whispers, and the group silently exits the stairs.

"I see you found me after all." Mardono says, his back turned. "Very impressive. And Princess, I knew you would be more trouble than you were worth. I should have listened to your father and killed you long ago." He turns to face the group.

"Silence! I'll not suffer you to speak such filthy lies!" Sael shouts.

"Oh, but they're not lies, dear princess." Mardono says. "You see, your father bade me come here. Told me he would give me half of his kingdom if I would destroy you and your mother, and seize your powers for his use."

"Lies!" Sael shouts again, tears filling her eyes. "That isn't true! It...it can't be."

"See?" Mardono says when he sees her reaction. "Even you know it to be true deep down. You always suspected your father of having your mother killed, did you not? How would I know that, if I wasn't there when you wept into your pillows in your chamber? It was then that I determined not to slay you. Seems even I have more of a heart than your father. Such a wicked man he's become, but I suppose power can do that to a person."

"No..." Sael gasps, breathless from the crying. "No, I will not believe it!"

"Oh, but you already do." Mardono says cruelly.

"Die!!!" Screams an enraged Sael, as she equips an arrow and sends it flying at his head. It travels quickly, and goes through his head, without even touching him.

Mardono begins to chuckle, as he flickers, and fades into nothingness.

"A ,magical image. He was never there! TRAP!!!" Jamie exclaims. But it's too late, the group finds themselves surrounded by all manner of conjured beasts. The doors and windows are blocked by magic that Jamie cannot undo, and the stone walls all catch fire somehow.

All that there is left for them to do, is fight like they have never fought before.

"Fire...not good to let that near me..." Luna looks around at her allies in combat, "But..." She crouches down and rests her huge blade on her leg. She proceeds to pull out a small, thin bottle from a pouch on her belt and opens it. She pours the gooey contents over the length of her blade. "Yes...this will do..." She rises again and shoulder charges towards one of the conjurations, crushing it against the wall. She swings and grinds her sword against the wall, sparking and igniting the oil she poured on it. Her blade now a tall veil of fire, she starts swinging it at the beasts, licks of flame jumping off at them as she attacks.

Jabbin looks around, everyone is surrounded and the beasts are closing in. He pulls out his sword and grabs his shield. "Hahaha, well, it looks like we are ether going to die and be hailed as great warriors or kill em all and be named great warriors!" Jabbin holds up his shield and lunges his sword as if it was a spear at the beasts that run at him. One of them claws his back, the sound of nails on armor fills the air. Jabbin whips around and swings his sword three times, cutting the beasts head off and spilling its guts to the floor. "How are ya doing?" He shouts to his party.

"Too many, TOO MANY !!!" Jamie shouts, as he starts to panic from the creatures of darkness approaching, "everyone out !" As Jamie runs for the window of the castle, a brimstone with a wide open view, and attempts to jump out of it. Jamie hits the magical barrier face first and falls to the ground. " What ?!" shouts, as Jamie starts to pound upon the magical barrier with his staff. Each time hitting the barrier with all his strength, swing, swing, swing... Jamie hears a crack and thinks, this is it !, CRASH !... but not what Jamie expects... pulling his staff close, "my staff..." the orb on top of the staff was no longer there. shards of the glass orb somehow make it beyond the barrier and out the window. "What ?!" confused Jamie stands there unsure of what to do now...

*Flashback*

*Smack !* "You aren't focusing hard enough boy ! Listen ! You'll never see your family again if you don't do what I say ! Now, do it again. From the plains of the next dimension." Jamie raises his hands, palms down, raising a creature of darkness from the shadows of the near deserted, half broken down castle. Jamie struggling to summon the creature any more than it already is at, from it's knees and up almost out, dropping his arms, the creature falls back into the shadow and, in turn, back to it's dimension. "I can't do it... These creatures are too much, they will harm innocent people ! It's evil." *Kick to the back* "I'm not training you to think for yourself, you're here to do as I command ! The power to summon creatures is neither good nor evil, it is an in between, there are creatures of darkness in some dimensions and creatures of light in others. You learn this spell and you won't even have to worry about someone killing you, you can be the one to do the killing. Starting with the village on the next mountain over. They're thieves stealing from the farms on the other side of the mountain. Kill them." "No"

*Back to now*

Regaining some sense on what to do, "Jabbin, Luna get back." as I say to the both of them. "Okay, everyone. Hold onto something. If what the old man said was true, then I should still have this power." Raising my hands the highest they will go, "You will no longer plague this realm ! Back to where you've come from !" The creatures of darkness start to sink into the ground as if melting, the same thing is happening to me and *unknowingly at the time Quhark* As if in the blink of an eye. The dark creatures, Quhark and I are in the land that was in my dreams. Grey sky, Grey land, I can hear the river and an odd sound of something being crushed. The sound of angry screaming from something beyond a nightmare, Quhark and I turn around to see the dark creatures here in the world of greyness with us. "Quhark, here's enough magic to get you home, now go !" "What about you Jamie ?" "I can't leave here without all these creatures getting out as well." As I touch my hand against Quhark's chest. Quhark goes back to the castle with everyone else. "Bring it !" Jamie says to the dark creatures before he rushes them in an attempt to fight them. Shortly thereafter getting ripped to pieces and consumed by the very creatures I have trapped in this world of grey.
*OoC: this will be my last post in the RP *Story wise* Because Jamie is dead.*

"AAAAAHHHHH!" Juilen was swinging around aimlessly until they all teleported by Jamie. "...They're gone? How?" Juilen looked around to see if everyone else was alright. "Where's Jamie and Quhark?" Right as he said that Quark teleported back. "Where did you run off too?...And where's Jamie, did you see him?"

Notices the look on Quhark's face .... " He is gone isn't he ? He saved us by killing himself .... or putting himself in a suicidal position anyway ... poor lad . I guess his light was enough for us to see ... but the darkness was enough for him to blind .... " Withdraws sword and places it in its case " Rest In Peace ... Warrior . C'mon then . No use staying here n crying bout it . A say we move on and get the spawn of a toad that did this to our companion ... Anyone with me ? " 

"Now this is more like it..." Alex thought to himself. "I don't even have to use the barrier to fight these guys. I wish I knew the eleventh technique, but this light that I have now will be more than enough to annihilate all of these beasts."

Alex swiped past twenty demons, slashing all of them in half. He fought off three that lunged at him, then heard a strange voice.

"Li...lig...ig...igh...," he heard. Alex falls to his knees. "What is this...sound?"

The sound continued. "Li...lig...ig...igh..t...S...p...spee.."

Alex began to collapse. "What...what is this?!"

Three demons lunged on top of Alex. Alex barely mustered up the strength to swipe them away with his sword. "Why is this...HAPPENING!!!!"

Suddenly Alex released a loud roar and swiped across the room, knocking back the demons.

"Hmm..." Alex thought to himself. "That was very strange...but whatever. I still have to kill these demons."

Alex continued to fight the demons.

"Aye" says Toot. "Jamie has done us a great service. He paid the greatest price, all to save us."

"He was so young..." Luna says, almost sounding lost.

"Aye. But we must carry on with the mission, else his death be in vain." Toot answers.

Just then, the castle begins to shake, and the tower they are in, breaks off and falls to the ground, crumbling as it hits the ground. Mardono stands over the ruins, observes the complete lack of movement among the rubble, and chuckles.

"Fools. To think, you actually thought you could defeat me." He says with a smile. "You should have left while you still had the chance." He adds, as he turns and heads for Naviria.

Suddenly a low, almost inaudible rumble is heard. The rumble quickly grows louder until the rubble heap all but explodes, producing the heroes encased in a bubble of light. The bubble floats upward and away from the rubble, and comes down softly in the grass next to it.

"Well, that was certainly quite the exepience" Cross comments. "It would seem that the light itself fights against you, Mardono."

"What? but...how?" Mardono stutters, clearly unnerved.

"Seems you just can't win today." Jabbin says with his most intimidating menacing smile.

"I'll kill all of you!" Mardono shouts, enraged.

And with that, Cilia uses her powers to send a volley of arrows raining down on top of Mardono. One. Two. Three. Soon, he is stuck with the tenth and final arrow in the volley. Mardono staggers a bit, then stretches forth his hands, and all of the arrows vanish, and his wounds begin healing at an impossible rate.

"Nice try, little girl, but your powers are no match for me." Mardono says, as he spreads his arms out to the sides, and an army of the dark beings that had pursued the adventurers come forth, and attack.

"They're so easy to defeat, but even they will prove too much, if he can continue to summon so many of them." Juilen says, as he swings and knocks two of them away in one swat.

"Oh, you think that's bad?" Mardono says "Try this." And with that, he throws his arms up toward the skies, and brings them down quickly, causing dark shards as sharp as the tip of a blade, raining down from the sky. The adventurers, not to be defeated, Skilfully managge to dodge all of them, while keeping the summoned ones at bay.

"Nice" Mardono says as he applauds. "How about this?" He says, as he throws a handful of dust into the air, and a swarm of fierce bird-like creatures swoop in, razor sharp talons slicing away. A multi-arrow shot from Cilia manages to stop most of them, but one does manage to clip Sael's arm. The others continue slicing and swinging away at the summoned beings, as their numbers drop rapidly.

"Oh, I know what you'll REALLY like. Mardono says with an evil chuckle. He then puts his hands together, and spreads them apart again, and Jamie appears before them.

"Jamie!" Juilen shouts.

Jamie raises his staff, and says a word that the other cannot make out, and a bolt of lightening issues forth, nearly striking Jabbin.

"An evil clone of Jamie??" Quhark growls "NOW YOU HAVE GONE TOO FAR!!!" And with that, Quhark charges Mardono, who in his attempts to toy with his prey before destroying them, has left his guard down, and is unprotected and alone (the adventurers have effectively destroyed all of the beings he summoned). A split second later, Mardono finds himself on the ground, being sliced up by an enraged Quhark. The others un in, trying to help Quhark, but before they can make it, Mardono utters a spell that teleports him behind Quhark, and he raises a conjured blade of darkness, and brings in crashing down into Quhark.

The dark blade has no effect on Quhark, who has become one with the dark power inside of him. Mardono steps back, shocked. His wide eyes betraying him and revealing his fear. He quickly regains his composure, and begins to send forth another attack, but Cilia's multi-arrow assault lands five arrows in his chest before he can, and knocks him backwards. Quhark charges again, but is intercepted by the fake Jamie. Quhark knows this is not truly Jamie, but he cannot bring himself to attack it, and the imposter uses a powerful strike of magic, and sends Quhark flying several feet before landing roughly. Jabbin tries his hand, but finds himself unable to harm the imposter Jamie, no matter how many times he strikes him, and soon Jabbin to is knocked backwards. Finally Eridor speaks up:

"Who here was closest to this child in his life?"

"That would be you, Luna." Juilen says. "You two had some sort of connection.

"Then you must be the one to slay this imposter. He was summoned as a general magic, that confronts one with their most difficult struggle. You alone can conquer that struggle." Eridor says.

Luna steps forth, and tries, but cannot bring herself to strike him. The imposter Jamie knocks her back against a tree, but still Luna struggles to attack. He deals another hard blow, and Luna falls to her knees. The imposter prepares to impale Luna with a conjured blade. Time seems to freeze for Luna.

"Luna"

"Jamie?" Luna asks, confused.

"Luna, the foe you face: that is not ruly me. I am finally at rest, but you have so much more that you must do. I gave my life for you, and all of the others too. Don't let my sacrifice be in vain, Luna. Do this for me, as a final service. Slay this imposter, Luna."

Suddenly time seemed to speed up again, and Luna realizes what she must do. A swift upward stroke of her blade, and the imposter is impaled, and dissipates into a mere mist. And on the wind, Luna can hear Jamies voice faintly.

"Thank you, Luna. Thank you."

"Thank you, Jamie." She says softly.

"Touching reunion" Mardono says as he lifts Juilen into the air with his powers "but I'm afraid this is where it ends." Juilen begins to gasp, as all of the air is sucked out of him, causing his body to slowly begin to implode. Jabbin has other plans though.

Just as Mardono deals the final crush of Juilen's body, Jabbin's sword sails in a direct line, and pierces Mardono's stomach, coming out the othe side. Mardono is stunned, and drops Juilen, who gasps for air for a few moments, while the others charge Mardono. After a moment, Juilen catches his breath, and rises to his feet. As the others all tear into Mardono mercilessly, he again teleports directly behind them, and conjures several beasts to attack, but as he does so, he fails to notice a young Juilen coming up behind him.


whack!


Jamie's hammer lands the hardest hit he's ever dealt, completely crushing the side of Mardono's head, and severing it from his body.

Juilen stares, shocked. But soon the head begins to heal, and roll toward the body.

"Nice try, Mardono." Luna says, as she steps over the body that is trying to heal itself "But this is the end for you." She lifts her blade. "This is for Jamie!!" And with that, she sends her blade slicing through his heart. A loud screech is emitted, and Mardono stops moving, and the darkness flees. It's dawn, and the sun is visible once again from the mountain top. It's as if nothing had ever happened, and everyone can feel the difference. In their hearts, they know the darkness is gone finally. They can now rest.

"I can't believe it" Sael says, sounding exhausted. "We did it. It;s finally over."

The group talks it over as they head back down the mountain, and once they reach the bottom, everyone heads in the direction of Naviria, everyone except Alex, who heads back to Walsko.

"I have some business to attend to, and I must tell my father I am well, and we have finally succeeded. Now Walsko can rest at last."

"If it must be so, then farewell, Alex" Sael says, and they part ways.

Once they return to Naviria, the adventurers find the king back to his normal self, and to express his gratitude, they are all granted one request, and are also offered a position as a ruler of one of the king's lands, or any other life they might wish in his kingdom. The choice is theirs.

Alex however, doesn't find everything as he had hoped back at Walsko...


(OoC: everyone may now write their epilogue, and tell us what happened to them after this adventure, where they went, how they spent their life, did they go back to Lower Earth, etc.)

Quhark feels happiness like he never felt before.He also got his memory back after defeating Mardono.
He tells the king: "Sir, I have only one request. I want equipment, a horse, some gold and the way to some kind "Portal of Draconia". I my memories tell me that when I was young, my mother,'The dragon queen' sent me here but the 'King of wyverns' put a curse on me giving me the evil form I fused with.
I'm definetly stronger now and I would like to end the war between the strong Dragons and fast Wyverns."

The king granted him this request and gave him a map to the portal.
"See you my friends, I hope we meet again in another time."

OOC: Eirinn: if you make another RPG then PM me I mostly like Sci-fi but Fantasy is amaing too.

"My allies...no, my friends, I would have not survived these past days without your utmost assistance, and for that you all have my deepest gratitude. I would reward you all but..." She looks down and sheds a tear, "...and have a funeral for Jamie...His death shall be honoured!" Luna steps towards the King and gets on one knee. "I wish only to return to the Lower World for I am needed there. It will be reward enough for me." She turns around and stands. "So long dear friends, you shall all be missed greatly."
