One of my worst gaming confessions is that the only game I have ever completed (on my own) is Mother 3, Every single game in the Lego series, Hercules on Commodore 64, Skyrim (even though you can never really beat that game) and River City Ransom on NES, what are your gaming confessions?

I used to be Nintendo fanboy and because of it didn't buy a PlayStation for a few years while insisting that N64 was best because it was 64 bit. After finally purchasing a PlayStation I realized it was really a great system and got to play some really good games.  One that sticks with me the most is Gran Turismo.

About 5 years ago, I was playing a Dragon Ball Z fighting game on my PS2 and it was extremely difficult, even on the "very easy" setting. I smashed my controller against the wall and the L button still doesn't work on that controller to this day.

I also confess to controller rage. One word, Battletoads. I was, I think, twelve, but to be honest it wouldn't matter if you placed the game in front of me now or in a hundred years. I would STILL, without remorse, rage and break the cartridge into a billion pieces.

Street Fighter II The World Warrior caused me to throw my controller more times than I would care to admit! I've come to believe that a SNES controller is nearly indestructible.  The thing put dents in the hardwood floor but wouldn't break, eventually it did develop a rattle and the L button wouldn't click when you pushed it but everything still worked fine with it.

well i remeber once i was playing the old LoZ oracle of seasons. i was facing against the final boss, the dragon forme. all i knew was i had to hit his jem on his forehead. for hours i would hit him with everything i knew and end up dying with no damage to him. it was really pissing me off. finally i lowered my standards and pulled up the answer on youtube. when i realized i had forgotten to try out a charged swing, which was the needed attack to harm him, it was that "what..." moment. needless to say i was grumpy for the rest of the day

I have never actually smashed or attempted to smash a controller. I have, however, messed up several as a kid due to my constant bouncing up and down. I have also never beaten Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, or Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. I am literally anout ten or fifteen minutes away from the final boss, on BOTH GAMES, but I have yet to even try and defeat them. Although the reason for Majora's Mask is that there are still two masks left for me to get before I can get the Fierce Deity Mask.

Well this is an interesting thread. Game confession eh? Well I guess just about the worst I can say is that I play a game on the Internet called Runescape which is known for a pretty bad player community (At times and in some places in game, not everyone is horrid. Like me for example.) and I actually enjoy playing it. Maybe that's just because after 7 years of playing the game I am sort of a top tier player at this point.

The next worse thing I can think of is the fact that BlazBlue: Continuum Shift is the only game in the BlazBlue franchise (My favorite game series by the way.) that I own. Nor have I played any of the games that it is roughly based on in the Guilty Gear franchise.

So game confession. I have not much to say but one thing is that I never finished the Super Mario on NES but until The end of the first world because as a kid I thought that the game ended(I know English since I was 11).

I've smashed/broken a total of 6 controllers on various game consoles, however only one of them was on purpose. I was playing Kingsley on the PlayStation 1 (He was a little fox warrior, and the game was infuriating as it was a lot of jumping on moving blocks over a pit of lava.) So I threw my controller at the group and it needed to be tapped back together, to this day it works but rattles all the same. The other 5 controllers I've been playing a game, and getting so into it, or frustrated I've moved in a way where the controllers slipped from my grasp, or I've literally got so into the game I've pressed a button so hard it no longer works.

Here is one. I have played and beaten every Zelda game (excluding DS and Skyward Sword) EXCEPT Ocarina of time and Majorah's Mask. I never actually owned an N64 or GameCube, so I never really got much chance to ever even play them. I plan on downloading them from the Wii Shop Channel eventually . But I find it weird that I have beaten every single one aside from the most recent except for the MOST popular ones.

I have played hundreds of games across most systems and pc, finished maybe 20, and with them all, I'll play until I get bored/frustrated with it or beat it, then I go back and cheat: game glitches, memory hacking(pc), cheat engines(like DS replay and gameShark). After I beat Skyrim, I found a fun glitch and gained over a hundred levels in about an hour...

The first consoles I owned and played on were Nintendo consoles. I was a Nintendo guy for a long time. I didn't really fall in love with Sega intill I started collecting, I did play on a Genesis a bit when I was a kid though.

Another is I have only beaten a few games. I play intill I get board normally.

When I was 8, I ran away from a shiny Tentacool on Pokemon Sapphire because I thought it was a glitch.

Alright, so since I love gaming but I am horrible at it my confessions are pretty long.
1.) First time I saw a Tank in L4D I ran out of the room, and to this day I avoid it for as long as humanly possible
2.) I still need help on Chemical Plant Zone of Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
3.) I have played all three fable games so many times that I know the whole game like the back of my hand
I have more but they aren't all that interesting.

rcarter2 : Do you have a club nintendo account? Because you can occasionally find them on there for free. Thats how i got majoras mask and super mario kart on there.

I remember one time i cracked my ds over my knee due to mario party rage. Also, traded in the loz collectors edition game when i was like 7.

mourinhosgum : I do not. Is that a paying subscription account? If so, I won't likely get one. Don't want to pay monthly fees for something I probably won't use much.
