Cactuar : Actually, it looks like Batman cheated in the video from Dark Knight Returns 2. If you look at 1:16, some other guy shoots a Kryponite arrow at Superman.
It looks like Superman was destroying Batman before that interference.

I thought Batman and Superman were friends. I think Batman would win here is why. Superman does have special powers yes. But Batman is a skilled fighter and just look at the bad guys Batman has had to take down. The Joker, Killer Crock, Poison Ivy, Two-Face, Penguin, Ridldler and Bane. So Batman has experience fighting guys that have super strength. Thus I think the battle would be very close but I give Batman the edge

EideticMemory : Sorry superman fanboy. You just don't get the picture here. Batman is great tactician, if you watch dark knight returns part.1 When He fights against that Mutant leader he loses, because batman notices that his opponent is too fast, so when he fights against him 2nd time he lured that Mutant leader to the mud pit so the mud will slow him down and it's easier to win him.

You see even if Superman is super strong and has all kind of neat abilities, you can't always win with only using your muscles.

"sometimes pen is mightier than sword. " Hope you get the idea. Batman knows how to use his brains.

EideticMemory : Well maybe that no doubt was stupid ending comment, But if you think about this, Isn't it cheating that Superman got his powers because the sun is different than he's home planet ....So without the Superman would be just a normal dude with normal powers, and if batman wanted he could have carry the kryptonite with him all the time. But Batman wanted to show Superman that he does not fear to face him in one on one combat.

I like both heroes very much, but in this case, I'm on Batman's side.
