I will if there is a topic still being discussed that I want to give my input on. Just because the OP is banned, in my mind, doesn't really inhibit the current conversation unless such ban also lead to the thread being closed. All in all, for me, it really just depends on the topic and if it's still active.

When replying to a thread, I only care about the topic, and not the maker's current status. If it's a good thread, I will reply to it.

I guess now that I have posted in many threads with banned users it doesn't really make a difference I guess you could say. Most threads the person who makes the thread doesn't reply to it anyways.. alot of times I don't even reply but I have gotten alot better with reading over my entire threads and reading what people say. It's a lot better then I was doing I won't lie!

The only problem I've seen was when the banned user had an ask anything, but that was resolved quickly.
I do like when the makers of threads interact and comment on posts in the thread. It makes the threads more interactive rather than just a bunch of people posting. (A suggestion I should take myself, I admit).

Of course, this isn't possible when the threads by a banned user, so I might try to avoid posting too much in those types of threads for this reason alone.

I don't care at all whether the user who made the thread is banned, when it comes to that. If it's a good thread that I can make a decent post in, then I'll happily go for it.
