In my opinion, true friendship is when that person stays by your side, even during those tough times. For example; I have a friend of mine that lives 8 hours away from me. We used to see each other a lot more, until she moved away. For about 3 years, we've still kept in contact with each other. Sure it's not the same, but it's the best way to communicate with her.
