How far are you with the scripting. I do not want to rush you or anything of the sort, but I am concerned since we only have 8 days to complete the BETA!

Can you come up with a plot for the second town. It must contain a gym fight (unlike pretty much all pokemon game) since we are low time and can not complete too many towns before the deadline. Can you also come up with NPC trainers for the first few routes, and wild pokemon.

Here is the Rom. I did have to rush it since my internet turns off at 9pm in UK GMT. I did the maps and movement permission but warps and detail to the rooms still need to be added but I will do that. So if you can get the script done, I will complete the rest tomrrow.

We should go all out until the deadline. After we will relax and eventually finnish the hack.

When you first enter the town a little boy says there is a bunch of shiny Pokemon in the shiny cave. You can follow him and then you can run around and find a shiny Pokemon. Then everyone says something about shiny s. The gym is a normal type gym but all the gym leaders and people in the gm their Pokemon are shiny.

Then NPC non playable character right? So like route one or???

Glaceonwhisper : That is a good idea. We could probably use that though I mapped a forest but that would not really affect any of your idea. The only thing that worries me is if we can actually script in shinies. Usually the gym leader is separate from the town plot. So if the boy says there are some  strange looking pokemon around, come with me to the forest. Then once at the end of the forest, you could get a chance to catch one of 3 shiny pokemon. You can decide which.

Shinies can be scripted easily. Its easier to script shiny event battles than shiny wild... but both are doable (easily)

And a gym leader with shinies is also easy. Infact you can script the gym leader with as many shinies in any order that you want. Like havine 2 normal pokes a shiny and a normal and another shiny... in that order.

Its all pretty simple scripting. If earthwarrior does not know how pm me ill explain it.
