I hate laugh tracks! I think their just there because nobody will laugh at the show. I also hate how the track plays every 9 seconds. The audience will laugh at stuff they find funny, not every action made by the actors.

There is a psychologycal reason why SITCOMs got laughing. First humans copy each other. How would you speak or walk or be civilized without your parents and others. There is a video onyoutube about a chain of people lauhing at each other's laughs and it makes everybody laugh because it is in our genes. So the laughing to increase the humor factor in case of bad jokes.

Usually I don't care too much about laugh tracks because I've gotten used to them. But I have to admit sometimes they can be kind of annoying and I wouldn't mind much if they removed it from a show. So I guess I would go without laugh track.

Most of the time i do not really mind the laugh tracks that much, but lately they have been getting on my nerves . . . like seriously its unecessary to put them in half the time and just ruins it in my opinion .

I think that they are overused and annoying. However, it would be funny to be able to add laugh tracks to a cartoon sitcom like Simpsons, Family Guy, Regular Show, Rocko's Modern Life (feels perhaps a little TOO much like a sitcom), or even Spongebob...just as a joke. As for the live-action sitcoms...like I said, the laugh tracks in most of those are getting really annoying. At least the laugh track is a common cliche that allows you to identify typical sitcoms just from the sound of them. As many people have stated, however, laugh tracks are often placed on jokes that are not really funny at all. I like comedy when it actually IS funny, but not when it is just completely fake and tacky like most live-action sitcoms.

Without the laugh track. Laugh tracks are about the most annoying thing that a show can have. It is even worse when the show, or the line said, is not funny. It makes the whole experience of watching a comedy less enjoyable. I came to laugh and have fun, not to hear other people laugh. I want to be able to listen to the show, not an audience of people. I could never get over how overused laugh tracks were. I do not even understand what purpose they can serve except to help make the actors maybe feel more comfortable or glad that people enjoy the show? I don't know. It just seems annoying to me.

Without laugh tracks! I know when to laugh without them.. I wanted to watch How I met your mother because I heard it's very good show, but I didn't even finished the first episode when I got sick of all that laughing.. Only shows where it does not bother for some reason (maybe because I have watched them  first time when I was a little kid) are Friends and Mr. Bean.

I despise Laugh Tracks. I don't even know why they're there, it just makes the show annoying to see at times, and sometimes drowns off what the character is saying.
Some that really irritate me are like Victorious, where (in the later episodes) the put a laugh track at the end of each sentence, funny or not.

I would be ok with laugh tracks, if they were not used a lot and sparingly and occasionally in the best jokes.
Which is never a case, because they're insanely overused and it is horrible to listen to them.
I always love hearing the real life audience, when you know, the people are alive and you're not listening to some dead ghost voices from the 80's recorded on some musty tape

One of the examples of overused laugh tracking is TBBT.
"Hey Sheldon?"
"Yes Leonard?" *Sheldon makes a small glare and everyone nearly flips over themselves*
"How come you get that side of the couch?"
"Cause I'm awesome." *Laughing*
Wait for it-
"Bazinga."
*HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH* oh how i find TBBT frequently annoying, far greater than Sheldon's passion for Wil Wheaton.

I think shows are better with out a laugh track. I mean if a show is funny then you'll know when to laugh.
