You probably already know why you clicked this thread, but if you don't, then here's the guide/FAQ thread for Puella Magi Mafia Magica. If you don't see something here mentioned that you are still curious about, feel free to ask it after having read the full thread.

Anyways, I'll start out with the roles, which are mostly heavily based off of the ones from the original set in Innocent Town, which were, themselves, based off of another person's explanation, whom may not be named unless desired to be so.

Town
Bystander - Basically the same as always. You can only vote in the day and have no other actions. Just wait out the night and hope you don't die in the process.

Magical Girl (Named) - At first, the magical girls will be divided. They will not know which member is another. However, as nights pass, they will be introduced one by one. Specifically, Madoka will know who Mami is, but nobody else will. Next night, Madoka and Mami will know who Homura is, nobody else will, etc. till there aren't any others left. At night, you are the towns' only defense against the witches. You can choose one person a night who you suspect will be the victim of a witch. If you are right, the victim is saved and the witch is killed. If you're wrong, the victim dies and the witch lives. However, as you are all divided, there's a large chance that all of you may choose a different person, so to work that out, the one with more votes will be chosen. If there's a different person chosen by each Magical Girl, then the person will be chosen by random.

Kyubey - I had a bit of trouble coming up what to do with QB, but ultimately, I decided it'll be the Sherrif. You can investigate other members to find out their role, with the exception being Walpurgis... And yourself, I guess. You CAN find out who the Magical Girls all are, but it's up to you whether you want to tell them or not. You can choose to tell them so you have an advantage, or you can choose to not do so and wait until they find each other so the game can play out in a traditional manner. Whichever you find to be a bit more fun.

Witches
Witch - You are basically Mafia. Each night, you choose one person to kill, plain and simple. Unlike Innocent Town Mafia, you can not investigate other players during the night. You CAN choose to No Kill, however. All Witches must come to agreement on who to kill each night.

Walpurgisnacht - I may change this in the future to where it's not a user role, but for now, this is the Godfather. You are like all the other Mafia members/Witches, but you are hidden. If the game does not end within a month, then you win alone, regardless of whether or not there are other Witches left. If you are killed in the progress, you can still win if the time limit is not met. If you and all the other Mafia members die, the Magical Girls win.

Game Changing Conditions
Magical Girl Inactivity - If a Magical Girl is not heard from within at least 3 Days, they will automatically die. They're Soul Gem will have gone corrupted, and this is the only way your Soul Gem will get corrupted, other than dying or the time limit being reached, obviously.

Kyubey's Death - I may or may not change this in the future, but Kyubey's death will, for now, effect how the game is played. Specifically, if he dies very early on, the Magical Girls will not know who all others will be. If Kyubey dies after all the Magical Girls know who each other, then Kyubey's death will leave no negative effects at all, other than a loss for the town quite obviously.

Walpurgis Night - If the game does not finish within a month, then Walpurgisnacht, whether they have died yet or not, will automatically win. This is mostly because I don't want games lasting forever, but also to fit with how Walpurgis worked in the anime, kind of.

Bystander Inactivity - Equally, if a Bystander does not reply within 3 days, in a meaningful manner, they will be presumed "missing" and, if they choose to sign up, automatically be a Witch the next game. This will not be mentioned anywhere, it is up to you to know this clause and remember it each game.

Corrupted Soul Gems - As mentioned earlier, the only way your Soul Gem can become corrupted is to become inactive for more than 3 days. If your Soul Gem becomes corrupted, like in the anime, you become a Witch. However, this is ONLY for the round after the one you die in, like the Bystander Inactivity clause. Refer to the Bystander Inactivity clause to further understand this clause.

Witch/Walpurgis Inactivity Death - I couldn't think of any special reasons as to why you need to die after 3 days of inactivity, since nothing like that happened in the anime, so to put it simple, if you don't do something in 3 days, you automatically die. However, unlike the Bystander and Magical Girl clauses, the next game, you're banned. Your ban lifts after the round ends. This is to avoid cheating the time limit.

FAQ
Q - Can we avoid inactivity deaths by using our night actions?
A - No. You must post. It only makes the game fair.

Q - Why did you cut out so many roles?
A - Simply because there isn't much of a way to make the others fit, and this is a themed game, where it is important to make them fit.

Q - Why choose Puella Magi Madoka Magica as the theme?
A - Why not?

Q - Do you think you'll change the theme in the future?
A - It's highly doubtful, since I have a potentially working system already, but I can consider it.

Any other questions? Ask them here, and I'll answer them in a reply and add them to the FAQ if need be.
