You should watch the CBC feed if you can. It's better than the NBC garbage. You'd have to watch it on your computer but it is worth it in my opinion

If I had better internet service I would probably would do that... as is, it would be cutting out far too often.

So just in case people were wondering... Ray Shero came out today and said that they extended Bylsma's contract for another two years (which also means that Fleury is safe since Bylsma already said he would be). Granato and Riordan are staying, but the goalie coach is stepping down to be a scout (not surprising). Still waiting to see what the major shake ups will be on the roster itself.

Sorry for that but that game was probably the most exciting game that I can remember seeing as a Chicago sports fan and that's really saying a lot. What a hard fought game by both sides. It's one for the ages.

Or if you are lucky like me, you can wath both channels on tv. Anyways, I'm glad Boston was able to tie up the series. Didn't look good after the first two periods really, but Rask played great yet again, and kept them in it. And the fact that it was so much shorter was better too.

A trade was made today. LA and Toronto.

Bernier to the leafs for Frattin, Scrivens and a second round pick in 2014 or 15.

Leafs now have a solid goalie duo and LA frees up some cap space and gets a promising young player in Frattin, a decent goalie in Scrivens, and a yet to be determined 2nd round pick. It wont be known how good of a trade this is for either team for a few years at least.

Will Frattin become top 6 forward material? Will Bernier reach his very high potential? Will there be tension between him and current leafs goalie Reimer? Will this 2nd round pick come back to bite the leafs? Will Scrivens be able to keep LA in the playoff race if Quick gets injured?

We will all fund out in time.

Personally I think it's awesome to win the cup on hostile Ice. Especially when they won in 2010 and rubbed it in Philly fans face.

This was a fantastic series and an overall great playoffs. Even though my Ducks were out first round and usually cause of the minimal coverage we get here in the UK I switch off until the finals , but not this year. Every round had memorable match ups and was like I said a fantastic showing after a short season.
