I just want to know if any of you have any hand to hand combat techniques that would work against zombies.

I have a few here they are.


1. If a zombie tries to grab you, just side-step, grab throat and then use your leg to trip the zombie and then you can either make your escape or finish it with a stomp to the head.

2. ( Warning: this only works if the zombie is taller than you.) When the zombie tries to grab you duck and grab the back of it's legs and pull them forward and the zombie will fall and then you can either make your escape or finish it with a stomp to the head.

awesomenoobdude :  Best one I know of?  Dodge, punch, and run as fast as you can.  Just sayin.  The possibility of beating a zombie in H2H combat is very small.  Very small.

Unless you get into a situation such as accidentally finding yourself trapped at a dead end,
then I would have to say just run... but if that does happen then I would go for a quick trip up and dash.

I suppose it would depend on what kind of zombie we are talking about here. If it is one of the slow moving zombies like how they should be in my opinion. Then I would try kicking them to the floor and curb stomping its head in. However if we are talking about one of those over the top zombies that run at you like you are a piece of fried chicken, then I would look for high ground, on top of a car roof or something and kick at the head with everything I have in me!

Realistically, it is very dangerous to use hand to hand combat against Zombies.  If you have a weapon of some sort (Baseball bat, Hammer, etc)  then that should be your first choice.  However, if you are unarmed, and you have Zombies coming after you and you absolutely have to make contact, I would probably not even kill them.  I would try to trip them or push them out of the way.  I would make sure my arms are going across the torso, and nowhere near it's mouth and head.

You know, I actually do not think this plan would work. Zombies are infectious, and there are many ways to be bitten. I would not try to go hand to hand with a zombie.

If we're talking slow zombies, there is no reason to get in hand to hand combat with those guys.  They could infect by biting or by getting their bodily fluids on you.  I'm not taking any chances.  I'm going the other way.

Otherwise, again, there's no reason to go after a zombie.  The point is survival, not total number of kills.

You probably don't want any contact since any cuts allow for infection. I would rip a part of my shirt off and put that on my hands as a quick protective barrier if I need to punch. Since it's not using the true capacity of the brain, I could use my agility to avoid it and trip it from behind. 

I wouldn't punch it and risk the innards on my skin if I don't have to.

You would need good duribilty and agility to do Hand 2 hand combat against a zombie. I would trip him then punch him and run like crazy.. I don't think I would be able to do h2h combat with one unless I had some sort of weapon which wouldn't be considered h2h. I do have good reflexes though which would probably help me get away.

Bintsy : I'd say tripping/tossing a zombie to the ground (unless it's one of those fast movement zombies from some movies) and keep one foot on the throat and the other to stomp so it doesn't buite your arm or hands, one bite and you are finished.
