We cant do anything about it. I can name a few members who aren't worthy of the trusted position. I have seen quite a few points given only for the purpose of making someone trusted, or just because they like the person. It sucks, but the new system does its best to help.

Sadly it still is. I know a certain member is giving out tp unfairly. 
As for me I don't give out tp anymore and if I do it's very rare. I don't really want to risk myself losing tp through someone else's idiocy.

I have seen my fair share of people on Vizzed that I don't think deserve the title. Many of which are (and I mean no offense in this to anyone) the younger members of the community. Handing out TP is all well and good if you see that the member has a good flow of posts free of spam, never starting fights and flaming people, and generally being as helpful as they can be for the site and its members. But unfortunately from what I have seen this doesn't happen as often as I think it should.

If you have a 11 year old acting like an adult, and being really nice, and helpful, he shouldn't be denied a privilege. But if you have an adult acting like he is 9, flaming and spamming, he doesn't deserve it. And besides, anyone could lie about there age just to get the position if they really wanted to.

well vie honestly never liked this TP system. But it is a good idea. But maybe there should be a way where someone must earn points by achievements AND people giving them. Like, I mean jack432(random name) could give X amount of TP to giddy375(another random name) which he believes he has earned. And later, giddy375 posts his 1000 post and earns .5 TP or so. That way, people can give what they believe is worth and then there are computer given TP for things that are actually worth it. Does anyone get one I'm saying? I hope this inst confusing
