OK, I must admit that I was completely fooled until the double "refer to this thread" made me suspicious (but only went a few more to see how far the referrals may go.)

I haven't had anyone try a decent prank on me in years: most are so generic.

At first I saw the new announcement and thought, "Oh cool. I new admin." I didn't really think about the color/style of the name being "owner" significant.  I would have missed the joke entirely (since I haven't been visiting the board) if not for only a moment ago clicking the "Staff" button. (I don't even know why I did.) and noticed David not being gold any longer... and only then seeing "The NEW Owner" which got me curious.

If not for that, in a few days I would have looked and seen David in gold again which would only leave me curious on what the heck happened.
