I have been speed running a lot of games lately, and I just get focused right on the game. When I listen to music, I focus more on the music, which would end up messing me up. I focus on the game music.

I turn on a playlist of The Living Tombstone, Crush 40, The Megas, Mic the Microphone, H8 Seed, and a lot of other things, because when I speed run 1 game, I go and do another one.

Only if it games without music or very little music. Or if I don't like the music which I do most of the time. I definitely wouldn't do it in a Sonic game as I love the soundtracks for all the levels.
