Has anyone else had trouble playing the DS version of Chrono Trigger? It hangs as soon as Crono goes into the warp hole, and the rom has fatal errors unusually often. Is it just anti-piracy scripting, or is my emulator messed up? How can I fix this problem?

Its anti-piracy scripting. CT DS is one of the first to use the new anti-piracy script.
Though the version on GYR was supposed to have a patch either on it or in the archive to apply to it...
let me think about this an get back to you.
of course that shouldnt stop others posting a solution if they have the same file as you.

Well, my ROM isn't from GYR so I guess it just doesn't have the patch. But just now I tried to download it from the given link in the DSroms thread, it said the network timed out. Does that mean I need to fix something on my computer or is it an issue with the site?

the sever thats on isnt responding properly right now by the looks of it.
thats on the http://dl5.filesend.net/ which isnt working properly right now.
