I can't believe I have the guts to do this, but..... I'm making a walkthrough for Mother 3. Hope this helps you stuck people.
To start things up......
ABOUT THIS GAME
Mother 3 is a Japanese RPG for the Gameboy Advance, made by the great man known as Shigesato Itoi, and is the sequel to the cult classic, Earthbound, Also known as Mother 2 in Japan. Since Nintendo was too lazy to translate Mother 3, (Mostly because of the problem with EarthBound,) These handsome fellows translated it to english. http://mother3.fobby.net/
All being people of the Mother fanbase Starmen.net, they attempted to get the game translated to English before Nintendo's fighting game, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, but sadly, they didn't. AND THEY HAD MOTHER 3 SPOILERS RIGHT IN LUCAS'S TROPHY DEscriptION.
But they got it done, and it was great. :3
Anyways, to begin the walkthrough.
*******PROLOUGE********
Yea, time to begin this.
WARNING, THIS WALKTROUGH CONTAINS SPOILERS
I'll make all the spoiler parts Highlighted red.
Anyways, starting out, you'll be asked to name some of the main characters of this game, and name your favorite food and thing. I'll be using all of the default options this run.
After being welcomed to the Mother 3 world, otherwise known as the Nowhere Islands, you'll be in Alec's Cabin. After Claus calls Lucas to come out and play with him and the Dragos.
Each time we come across a major character, I'll point out all the facts about them.
**LUCAS**

STATUS: Main Character
AGE: 9, 12 after the 3 years passing
PERSONALITY: Very shy and timid; a tad braver after 3 year pass
LIKES: Love, Peace, Omelets
ABILITY: PSI, after 3 year pass
RELATIVES: Hinawa (Mother), Claus (Brother), Flint (Father), Boney (Dog)

Once you get control of Lucas, head downstairs and head out the door. You'll be stopped by Hinawa, and she'll tell Lucas to go upstairs. Don't deny her order, or you'll be inside for the rest of your life. In your pajamas.
Anyways, once you see Lucas in his classic clothing, head to the door, and you'll be in the magical world of the outside.
Oh yea, if you ram into Hinawa's Chair, she'll give you some Nut Bread, the only item in this Chapter. What a loving mother! (I'll teach you how to ram a tad later)
Head over east until you find a frog.Save Frogs are pretty important in this game, since they save your progress, and are good for you people who die alot. Well, it's good to save casually in any game, actually.
Anyways, continue to head east into the next area, and you'll see Claus ramming into the Dragos.
He'll ask Lucas to ram into The Dragos. But then Alec comes over and teaches Lucas how to ram into things because Lucas is so sweet and peaceful that he knows 0% violence.
Anyways, to dash and ram into things, hold B (X on the Keyboard) until you see whoever you're playing as is in a stance. Then let go, and he/she will start running. use the < ^ V > buttons/ keys to control them and whatnot. To stop them, run into the wall, run into an enemy, or press X again.
Anyways, run into the Drago once. If you run into it from the left, it will crush Lucas. He will be okay, but you can use that for a laugh or two.
After ramming into the Drago at least once, talk to Claus. After saying his line, a Mole Cricket will appear and can't take the play fighting of Lucas and Claus, and so, challenges them to a battle.
~INTRO BATTLE~
Guess what? This game obviously has a fight that introduces you to the combat system.

STRATEGY: Simply bash away.
After a few turns of bashing, the Mole Cricket will be defeated.
After giving up, the Mole Cricket challenges the brothers to a rematch someday. As he runs away, he can't grasp the true form of Hinawa's foot, so he ends up being stepped on. Hinawa hopes he's alright, then calls the boys in for their favorite.... OMELETS!
Once the boys, Hinawa, and Alec head inside, Hinawa says they must leave by twilight to make it home before dark. Alec makes fun by saying it's clearly safe and that even Lucas can make it. Lucas is obviously disturbed, and Hinawa walks out on her son forhis weaknesswalks outside to write a letter to Flint describing how they've been, how he should have come, and they'll be home by sundown.
Hinawa sends a Pigeon to carry the letter to Tazmily. As she prepares to walk back inside, She hears strange music coming from above. WHAT COULD HAVE CAUSED THIS NOISE!?!?

Okay, continuing this.
(QUICK ADVICE: To access the menu, press start. You have the option to see what items you have, equip items, see your special abilities, and put the game in sleep mode.
After you get the epic music "LOG - O - TYPE" and the title of the game, in case you didn't know what it was already, you'll see the Sunshine Forest. Suddenly, you'll see/ hear a big "BOOM!"
Some jerks are throwing bombs around. You'll see Lighter run out of his cabin while Fuel is left behind. You'll then see that those "jerks" are dudes in Pig Suits. The animals run in fear. Then you'll see a Caribou that'll be seen later.
Then you'll see Tazmily's presumed firefighter, Thomas, running down Town Square towards Flint's place.
~Chapter 1~
-Night of the Funeral-
-Part One: Forest on Fire-
When Thomas finally gets on Flint's property, almost stepping on a valuable save frog, he knocks on the door. Flint locked the door for who knows what reason, presumably knowing his family is coming home. Anyways, you get control of Flint when he bothers to move.

Head outside. Thomas get frustrated and tries to open the door by using his ultamite power, but he accidentely rips off the door knob.
Anyways, when Flint gets outside, Thomas calls him a doorknob by accident because of his troubles. Maybe he should get glasses.
Anyways, he joins your party by force. When you get control of Flint, head over to Boney, Flint's dog,'s doghouse and check it. You'll get a stick, the weakest weapon in the game. But it's Flint's only weapon this early, so why not get it? BTW, it's only worthfull when you equip it, so make sure to do that.

Anyways, head up into Town Square. Go over to Mapson, the guy sitting on the bench. You'll get a map from him. To view the map, press R. (S on the keyboard)
The News is obvious: The Forest is on Fire! But the bigger news: Lighter and his son, Fuel, are still in their shack! And you're the only one who can rescue them, as usual.
Head North into this place where there are four paths branching off. One to Town Square, One to the Sunshine Graveyard, One to a place you can't access, and the one you want to go to, the Sunshine Forest. There's also something of interest here. If you head to the left, you'll see a tall man who rings a bell named Leder. His importance comes towards the end of the game, but I CAN say he's always dead silent. ( There's so much to spoil in this game. )
Anyways, take the left path. When you spot it, head into the gray building known as the "Prayer Sanctuary". Talk to the guy who's name I forgot, and after he asks Flint to pray for the forest and the animals and that stuff. When Flint comes to the prayer place, some divine spirit asks you (Yes, you, as in the player) for your name. Enter in whatever you want, or just put in your name.
(-NOTE- If you enter in your name as "HARD MODE", the game goes into a Hard Mode where all enemies have double HP, and you get less EXP from battles. I highly reccomend not trying this very early.)
Anyways, exit the Prayer Sanctuary and pass the nosy onlookers. You'll be in the Forest soon enough.
When you enter, you'll see a guy with a hat who I also forgot the name of. If you talk to him, he'll give you a Nut Cookie. Talk to him three times, and you'll have 3 Nut Cookies. After that, no more.
Anyways, head out further, and you'll come across your first enemy: Mr. Batty
MR. BATTY

LEVEL: 10
HP: 56
PP: 0
OFFENSE: 41
DEFENSE: 14
IQ: 10
SPEED: 15
WEAK TO: Fire, Bombs, Strangeness
DROPS: Nut Cookie 2%, Nut Bread 20%.
EXP: 20
BATTLE THEME: Mr. Batty Twist

When you have the choice of two paths, head to the left. You'll see Issac's house with Matt knocking on the door. When you head left, you'll see a save frog and a Present. The present contains an Aries Bracelet. Equip it. (Note: There are so many defensive items to do, So I'll just do weapons)
Also, continue left, and you'll find a Hot Spring. These things are wonderful, since if you bathe in them, your HP/PP is fully restored. Use these often.
Anyways, head back to the intersection, fight more batties, then head into the forest. I reccomend being at least level 8 before heading in.
Once you enter, you can see the mass amount of flames. Whatever you do, DON'T TREAD IN THEM. If you do, you loose 1 HP each time. If you do this enough, you could loose a mass amount of HP in seconds.
Anyways, new enemy here aswell.
YAMMONSTER

LEVEL: 10
HP: 33
PP: 0
OFFENSE: 35
DEFENSE: 22
IQ: 12
SPEED: 5
WEAK TO: Fire
EXP: 26
ITEM DROPPED: Nut Bread 60%
BATTLE THEME: DANGEROUS GUYS

Fight Yammonsters to keep your level up and avoid the fire. Eventually you'll see Lighter, exhausted. Thomas will ask if he's okay, and Lighter will mention of Bugs going around lighting fires. 
If you go on, you'll see a chunk of wood. Take it and equip Lighter's Lumber.
**LIGHTER'S LUMBER**
Stats raised: Offense
Raised by: 6
Stats lowered: Speed
Lowered by: 2
OBTAINED BY: picking up in burning Sunshine Forest.

MAKE SURE YOU EQUIP LIGHTER'S LUMBER NOW. Because if you try to progress, the bug you see will have it's friends come over, and you hafta fight the 3 fireflies.

***MINIBOSS***
FIREFLY x3

LEVEL: 10
HP: 53
PP: 0
OFFENSE: 35
DEFENSE: 10
IQ: 8
SPEED: 17
WEAK TO: Ice
EXP: 45
ITEM DROPPED: Nut Bread 100%
BATTLE THEME: TROUBLESOME GUYS
STRATEGY: Use Flint's "Swing" ability to deal damage on all of them. It should take about 2 - 4 swings to take them all out.

Once you defeat them all, Flint will do his epic hat tip. Move on when he's done being Flint Norris. (You should be Level 9 right about now)
When you enter the next area, check the barrel then save with the save frog in there. Head on, and you'll see Fuel calling for help. He suddenly falls, and you see a Flying Mouse fly over him. Bust down the door by ramming into it and head into Lighter's Burning Shack.
When you enter, you'll see the Flying Mouse flying around. When you attempt at going upstairs, it attacks Flint.

***MINIBOSS***
FLYING MOUSE

LEVEL: 14
HP: 110
PP: 0
OFFENSE: 46
DEFENSE: 20
IQ: 15
SPEED: 20
WEAK TO: Fire, Sleep
EXP: 45
ITEM DROPPED: Peculiar Cheese 20%
BATTLE THEME: Back Beat Battle
STRATEGY: Although it misses often, try to use Power Smash. If it contacts with the FM,  it'll do over 110 damage and OHKO it. Heal as needed.


Once you beat the Flying Mouse, head upstairs. Ram into the wood support blocking the way and talk to Fuel. He'll join your party. head outside. As soon as you get outside, the roof caves in, so both Flint and Fuel will be covered in soot.

The miniboss were a bit difficult when I first fought them, but I trained some more to beat them. Hey thanks for the information here it should help me out when I start all over. Keep up the great work. 

Nice walkthrough, Mother 3 fan 5! I support you all the way. I hope people don't spam it up, though (like cowboy :I) It will be very helpful for people that haven't completed the game.

~Part 2: Desperate Search, Part 1~

After Fuel mentions the obvious that you're covered in soot, head down south out of the forest. If you rest in the hot spring before exiting the forest, you'll see that their heads only covered in soot.
Once you reach the prayer sanctuary area, Keep heading south, then turn east. Lighter will reunite with his son. Lighter seems to have gotten a few injuries, but he'll be okay. Also Bronson says the only thing that could make things weirder is if it started to rain, and oddly enough it starts raining, so that's either ironic or he's psychic. The soot also gets washed off Flint and Fuel's faces.
You'll be in the Yado Inn with Flint, Fuel, and Lighter recovering from their injuries. Lighter also mentions of those Piggy Guys you saw earlier.
When you get control of Flint again, head outside. Issac will come and ask Flint if he's seen Hinawa recently. Obviously not, Issac then says that earlier he was in the mountains picking mushrooms, he spotted Hinawa. Then he heard what sounded like a Drago roaring.... then he heard he heard screams......
So, Flint rushes to his house to see if they're home. The only thing there is the Pigeon Hinawa sent ( And Boney, and if you talk to him, his words of wisdom are a single bark)
Flint reads the letter. Then he goes inside and reads it over. Hinawa said they'd be home before dark (I think) and it's already night. Uh oh....
Fuel and Issac come in and offer to help search for her. Once you get control Flint, head back outside.

So yea, here's your update. Now excuse me while I ride in my ROFLcopter.
