I don't get scared of too many games nowadays. I'm pretty chill in a lot of ways, so it's no big thing if some crazy monster pops out from behind me and tries to eat my spine.

I used to be terrified of redeads in Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The creepy sound, the piercing scream, and the fact that it ate Link's brains after freezing him used to give me nightmares when I was a kid. That being said, playing Majora's Mask and watching them dance really eliminated that fear, particularly because it was so dang funny. There was also my fear of bosses during my first playthrough, because I didn't want Link to die. I particularly remember my situation with Queen Gohma, where I saved right before her lair and didn't play the game again for a couple of days because I was so scared, for whatever reason. Good times, good times.

The only game that ever scared me, is when resident evil the directors cut first came out. The first zombie cut scene where he was chewing on the guys neck! Scared the s*** out of me, and I realized that video games have been changed forever, and it was exciting.

I think a proper scary moment in gaming would be certain moments in silent hill ( Honestly can't remember any specific moment haven't played it in that long. )

I find it extremely difficult to get scared by something that happens in a game, however I will admit, I just recently started playing Bioshock for the first time. And there was a moment where it went dark and I turned around and a dentist was just standing there behind me looking at me. I admit that made me jump slightly xD But I soon put a bullet right between his eyes

Oh, I can mention plenty of moments that made me jump from my seat. I'm really sensitive for horror games, one of the main reasons why I love them so much!

There's a moment in Silent Hill 2 where you're standing on the roof of a hospital, and Pyramid Head approaches you from behind, smashing you off of the roof. Pyramid Head is one scary baddie, so this scared the heck out of me.

Dino Crisis had its tense moments as well, dinosaurs have never been so frightening. There's this moment where all of a sudden, a T-rex bursts its head through the wall, snapping away at you. Made me almost soil myself...

Actually... I'll mention Pokémon Red and Blue as well. The Pokémon Tower in Lavender Town was so creepy and eerie.
