I'm going to give the answer that no one else will: Vista.

I find it to be WAY more stable than XP... it also boots and shuts down much faster than XP did. I love the new features they added in that OS like a search bar in the Start menu (how I open like every program these days). I like the new Aero look introduced. It's very clean. I like the Gadgets they added for Windows Sidebar...

Win7 carried over most of this stuff... but also altered it in a way that I found annoying or less intuitive so I got turned off by Win7.

I like 7, just because you can pick different backgrounds to rotate at different times, and I like paint. But I liked 97 or whatever it's called, because of the screensavers, and XP, because there are some cool mouse pointers. But I also think that 7 is faster.

I am absolutely adoring my Windows 7. The only complaint I have against it is that I have 64 bit instead of 32 bit which causes me to not have 16 bit support for some of my much older games. Only solution to that is to upgrade and get the Virtual Windows XP though... so yeah. Windows 7.

I like windows 7 computers personally. Seems fastest to me on what other computer types I used. And also has some nice wallpapers that it has which also makes it little bit more interesting to it.

I use windows 7 and it's my favourite... Maybe because I'm lazy or whatever but it just seemed easier to use...  I will just admit now that I don't really know much about Operating Systems... and have never really looked into it either..... Maybe I will one day

I hated Windows Vista, and I have noticed that the feeling is mutual in general.  (At least, everyone I talk to seems to feel the same way).  I had so many problems with it on my old laptop.

I like Windows XP. It's convenient and it runs smoothly.   I like what it offers and I really don't have a single complaint against it.

I voted for Windows Vista. I've been using the Ultimate edition pretty much since it came out and it hasnt given me any reason to change, it runs everything I need it to and supports all my hardware so I'm happy with it.
I think the reason lots of people dislike it is because most havnt used the best version, they have only used the cheap crappy version that came standard with lots of PCs.
I have used a bit of 7 and I think I can say that it really just uses Ultimate as its base.

I would have to go with Windows 7 because I've tested XP and 7 (since I have XP at home and 7 at school) and I've noticed quite a speed difference between the two operating systems. I personally like the sound effects and graphics of Windows 7 better than those of XP.
